The American steakhouse is an iconic restaurant institution. We’d wanted to tell that story for years, but waited until we had the skill, talent and ability to execute it properly, and the right space to be our canvas, an important corner in Little Italy, a neighborhood where we have deep roots. We brought an almost academic appreciation for steakhouse history and tradition to Born & Raised, while trying to stay relevant and authentic to ourselves and our city. Our dry-aged beef pays tribute to earlier, earthier, pre-government grading practices and is the centerpiece of a meal best savored at a slow pace. A timeless celebration of everything that makes restaurants so special. - Consortium Holdings. A 4% surcharge is added to all guest checks.

Le lieu est tout aussi excitant que les steaks dans cet établissement de Little Italy. Le restaurant Born & Raised détourne le genre du steakhouse à l'ancienne en affichant des photos de légendes du rap dans sa salle à manger entièrement dorée et ultra-glamour. On y trouve les fameuses grillades, ainsi que des chariots qui préparent des cocktails vintage à table. Le résultat est un steakhouse qui en fait trop, idéal pour les plus grands flambeurs.

Incredible experience. Do yourself a solid and dress up to go out. This place is not casual, and it is delightful. Everyone involved is focused on quality of experience and it really shows.

Our steaks were perfectly prepared and we enjoyed all the sides. Unfortunately the service was extremely disappointing— waiter had zero personality, did not offer any suggestions from the menu, we had to search him out to place order and anytime we needed something, and it took 20 minutes for him to return with our check. When you are spending $700 for dinner, you would expect excellent service. They really missed the mark on this one.

Food was great! We went there to celebrate a very important milestone at the establishment just for several people to tell us congrats out of force of habit. We weren’t looking for something comped but what was the point in asking if we were there to celebrate anything just to say congrats? Overall great establishment and great food!

Born is raised is beautiful! The food was fantastic and our waiter Tom was excellent! The hostesses were all so friendly and great. However when we first arrived we sat at the bar for drinks before being seated at our table. The bartenders were slow, took very long to take our orders and never would check up on us.

The ambience was excellent, but the food, for the price, was a let down. The steal was tender, but everything else was just blah.

Table booked for 2 people at 8pm. We arrived bang on 8pm and were told our table wasn’t ready and to wait in the hold area for a few minutes. After 15 mins of just waiting around and being ignored I went to complain to the front desk who said sorry but the previous guests at our assigned table hadn’t cleared on time. I said well that’s not really our problem and we had just been left with no update or communication as to how long we would be waiting. I went back to the holding area and 5 mins later (20mins in total) we were finally greeted by a waitress who took us to our table. We had another little moan to her about the experience so far and she apologised. A couple of minutes later the Manager came up to apologise and offered us two glasses of Champagne and some bread for the table as an apology which was a nice touch. Our waitress (Denise M) was adorable and was very attentive and helpful. We both chose the Ribeye Steak which was cooked to perfection (medium) and so flavoursome. Although we had such a poor experience at the beginning, they made things right with us and we had a very enjoyable experience in a fantastic restaurant.

The food was great and all the steak cuts are halal which is a huge plus. They have yummy mocktails and the dessert was amazing! Really nice ambiance and view, 100000% recommend.

This restaurant is a whole vibe and for a good reason! The service was great from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave. I highly recommend to make a RSVP for outdoor as this will sit you on their rooftop and the views are unmatched! ☀️ We had the Uni spaghetti and their cheeseburgers which, for a steakhouse-heavy place, these were the best cheeseburgers I’ve had in a while!
