BONDST, located at 20 Hudson Yards, is the first ever expansion of the trendy downtown restaurant with a warm minimalist interior design. The cuisine is new Japanese with European and Asian influences.

The original BONDST is Citysearch's 2007 and 2008 audience award winner for Best Sushi in NYC, as well as the 2008 audience award winner for Best Martini in NYC.

Amazing! I would highly recommend. And make sure you get a variety of dishes to sample. The eggplant was my favorite!

Our waiter was very nice. The additional offerings to the menu was a plus ! . It just didn’t have that “bondst” vibe that I’m used to from the original place.

Ursula made our experience truly memorable. She gave us advice on which delicious dishes to choose and also fun New York City activities. The lobster brick was delightful and the okonomiyaki was nice and crispy and delicious. We will definitely go back for the Japanese Matcha fluffy pancakes. I have to stress the fantastic service that Ursula provided and it was also pleasant to talk to the manager at Bond St Hudson Yards. Thank you for an unforgettable experience. 😊

Out of all the expensive sushi places in NYC, the quality of the fish here is terrible. Do. Not. Get. Nigiri. Or sashimi. Stick to the cooked appetizers and entrees. The raw fish was slimey and did not melt at all. I had to actively chew and even the fatty pieces like chuturo and otoro were hard to eat. And for this price point in sushi, I was so disappointed. To put it into perspective, two pieces of yellowtail nigiri is around $20 while at SUGARFISH, it is $7.25 and a hundred times better. Would never go again even though I liked the one in soho …

It seemed like a cool spot to take clients or a date, but for the money it was disappointing. I attempted to put in an appetizer order straight away, which is typical for a sushi restaurant. The waitress refused to take a partial order. When we placed our order, I felt like I was scolded by the waitress; even my clients said "oh, you're in trouble with her". Mind you, I've ordered sushi for decades at all kinds of sushi restaurants (i.e.. expensive and not so expensive), so it's not like I don't know what I am doing. The sushi itself was just so-so; the fatty tuna was just regular tuna, the rolls were all not very big and didn't have much flavor. My local place in Raleigh (the best sushi in Raleigh) has MUCH higher quality of fish. Maybe it was a bad night for the team there, but I would not recommend this place for the money.

They need to get their bar straightened out. My table wasn't ready so they told me to take a seat at the bar. The bartender ignored me for 15 minutes and when I pushed hard to get his attention he was rude.

Although it was quite busy, the staff was extremely friendly and professional. We were given complimentary edamame and a round of drinks because of the wait. The food was delicious and we had an excellent experience.

Was running super late due to traffic and they were so understanding and accommodating where other places usually are not so thank you for that. Points in my book. May was our server. She was funny and great.

The host people treated us like second class citizens, but our waiter was great, the food was great, and the space is very nice, even though the host seated us in one of the worst tables.
