Bon Delire does a great job of bringing a little slice of France to the Embarcadero. The decor and ambiance is decidedly very French, in a good way! The food is excellent and reasonably priced by San Francisco standards, the service is friendly and welcoming and the vibe is lively and fun! Highly recommend the deviled eggs, the escargot and the roast chicken but honestly, we loved everything we ordered! We can't wait to return!

We had a pleasant business dinner here earlier this week. Coming off the holidays, we all wished to eat light, so ordered Caesar salads and the boiled egg and crab, and scallop appetizers, together with mocktails in keeping with dry January. The mocktails were great and we each ordered two. The Caesar salads were quite tasty with a bit of an unusual spin on the classic which we all enjoyed. The appetizers were both very small (1 egg and a single scallop) and not all that ‘appetizing’ I’m afraid. The tab was $211 plus tip for the three of us which seemed a tad high for what we ordered. The terrific service was terrific however and supported an enjoyable evening. We were glad to have tried the restaurant but probably won’t return.

Everyone on one the staff was so friendly and nice! Gabriel, our server, was very professional and quick and always asked if we needed anything else. The food was really very good; the truffle fries was exceptional! The space though is very small and the stools are not very comfortable to sit on. The music is way too loud especially for such a small space! I know you want it to be festive but super loud is already annoying. If you are seated against the wall, that is fine but if you are on the other side of the table with your back to the bar, you will have people bumping into you, especially when the servers need to pass by.

Very lovely place. Trendy and cozy with well-designed accents and interiors. The bathroom requires a trip outside which may be somewhat inconvenient, but assuming the weather isn't too unforgiving, it's not a big hassle. We sat at the bar with Perry, knowledgeable bartender with unbridled boyish energy that was equal parts refined with knowledge about wine and the new menu. The good is good and given they are only in week 11, is only likely to get even better as the kitchen settles into its groove. I recommend!

Was there on New Years Day at 1 pm. Perhaps the best Omelet I have ever had (has Raclette cheese inside). We sat at the bar. I recommend the bar for the "ambience."

The space is beautiful and while the food IS good, it's very small and expensive for such small food. The four of us ordered the deviled eggs and scallop and the server failed to mention that the deviled eggs was one egg split in half and the scallop was literally ONE scallop.
