Following the success of his first restaurant in Vauxhall, chef and founder Ajay Chaurasia has opened a second site in Wimbledon, bringing his own personal take on Indian cuisine to South-west London. On offer is a range of lesser-known regional dishes along with plenty of tried-and-tested favourites so there’s something for everyone at this bright and cheerful restaurant.

Chaurasia’s aim is to bring together flavours from all over the Indian continent, Sharing appetizers includes the likes of king prawns (Tiltala Jhinga) and sticky tamarind wings with avocado chat - a contemporary spin on the classic street food snack. Tandoor highlights include Murgh Hariyali Tikka, which is grilled chicken breast marinated with fresh green spices and yoghurt, as well as vegan options, too.

(Bombay Delight does not use any ingredient that contains artificial coloring agent or flavor in our dishes. We use natural ingredients & products as far as possible to keep consumers healthier & happier.)

Took a friend who has never had Indian food before and he absolutely loved it. Food was spot on and service was excellent

Nothing special about the place. As an Indian, I am bothered how this place is so high rated. Food portion is tiny, tastes very average and it is not cheap either.

Bombay delight is the best thing that happened to Wimbledon. The food is top quality, delicious and appetising. The service is superb, the staff are wonderful. What else can anyone wish for?

Superb service and excellent food at a reasonable price, I’d booked for a table of 6 for my birthday and was very happy with the experience, the waitress overheard it was my birthday and organised for a cake to be delivered to the table which was an excellent touch. This has become my favourite indian restuarant in SW London and I will certainly be coming back. Highly recommend!

I and my family visited for dinner to celebrate my wife's birthday and we had a very pleasant experience. This place has a really good ambience and the food preparation is to the point. The staff was courteous and accommodating to help us seat comfortably with a buggy. They arranged for a birthday celebration for us which added on to our good experience. I would definitely return and recommend this restaurant to others.

Great food .. we celebrated my mums bday there and it was absolutely wonderful . I loved the ambience and the food quality was superb. Highly recommend their curry - methi chaman .
