Following the success of his first restaurant in Vauxhall, chef and founder Ajay Chaurasia has opened a second site in Wimbledon, bringing his own personal take on Indian cuisine to South-west London. On offer is a range of lesser-known regional dishes along with plenty of tried-and-tested favourites so there’s something for everyone at this bright and cheerful restaurant.

Chaurasia’s aim is to bring together flavours from all over the Indian continent, Sharing appetizers includes the likes of king prawns (Tiltala Jhinga) and sticky tamarind wings with avocado chat - a contemporary spin on the classic street food snack. Tandoor highlights include Murgh Hariyali Tikka, which is grilled chicken breast marinated with fresh green spices and yoghurt, as well as vegan options, too.

(Bombay Delight does not use any ingredient that contains artificial coloring agent or flavor in our dishes. We use natural ingredients & products as far as possible to keep consumers healthier & happier.)

    Last night, l and my fashion friends were dining, and l was so pleased (not surprised) that they shared in my delight in th atmosphere, the exquisite food (bravo! Once again chef 🙏) and not to forget the amazing service and hospitality of the staff. Thank you for another lovely evening 〽️〽️

    A very helpful young lady talked us through the menu and the fresh fish on the trolley. Especially helpful as one of our party is a coeliac needing gluten free. Great service throughout and the food was especially good. We will be back! Thanks

    Would recommend the food as being an Indian who cooks at home from scratch. Definitely a restaurant on my list.

    Overall, Bombay Delight exceeded my expectations in every way. Whether you’re a fan of Indian cuisine or trying it for the first time, this restaurant is a must-visit. The combination of delicious food, excellent service, and a charming atmosphere makes it a standout choice in Wimbledon.     Butter chicken was mainly sauce with 3 pieces of meat, lacking flavour. We asked to add a lot of spice in the butter chicken but was very mild, maybe it was precooked . The recommendation for the grilled fish was amazing but the second half of our dishes were quite disappointing. The staff is nice.

    Great food, great people and great atmosphere. Other was our first visit for our anniversary and it did not disappoint. Staff were professional, knowledgeable and welcoming. Food was fantastic, being vegan were not sure how much choice we would have but there was plenty to choose from. Food is cooked fresh and hot. The attention to detail from the decor to the food presentation was fantastic and really impressed. For our special occasion they made it memorable, we will be returning and would recommend it. It was the best Indian we've ever had. Thanks for having us.

    The manager was very gracious and very accommodating when we kept rescheduling our arrival time. Plus the food was excellent. Best peshwari naan had in a long time.

    Bombay Delight has become one of our go to places for excellent Indian food and having lived in Dubai for many many years, where India food is only surpassed in India, and also being married to an Indian I should know.
