Following the success of his first restaurant in Vauxhall, chef and founder Ajay Chaurasia has opened a second site in Wimbledon, bringing his own personal take on Indian cuisine to South-west London. On offer is a range of lesser-known regional dishes along with plenty of tried-and-tested favourites so there’s something for everyone at this bright and cheerful restaurant.

Chaurasia’s aim is to bring together flavours from all over the Indian continent, Sharing appetizers includes the likes of king prawns (Tiltala Jhinga) and sticky tamarind wings with avocado chat - a contemporary spin on the classic street food snack. Tandoor highlights include Murgh Hariyali Tikka, which is grilled chicken breast marinated with fresh green spices and yoghurt, as well as vegan options, too.

(Bombay Delight does not use any ingredient that contains artificial coloring agent or flavor in our dishes. We use natural ingredients & products as far as possible to keep consumers healthier & happier.)

    The best Indian food in London! The level of service, the taste of food, the variety in the menu, everything is beyond excellent. The manager and the waiting staff are wonderful and made us feel comfortable and very well looked after. This was our 5th visit and every visit only gets better. Congratulations and thank you to all the staff.

    The service was excellent, food was exclusively tasty and the best was the surprise desert for our Special Guest ( Massi ) was really appreciated. She was really happily surprised. Good luck to her Managerial Role.

    Indian food definitely catered to a caucasian palate. We ordered chicken, chops, paneer, mushrooms and naan and felt it definitely did not live up to the hype. Chops were rubbery and chicken had no flavour. Portions were small and prices were high. We asked to cancel our mains so we could go to Blue Juntion in Morden (short drive away) as it has more flavour, larger portions and value for money but apparently it was too late to cancel and we ended up eating it. Again, it was not great. The only positive i would say was they delivered a complimentary dessert as we were celebrating. Unfortunately it won’t be on my list of regular restaurants to visit.

    We went for my daughter's 13th birthday based on another recommendatuin we received. The whole experience was amazing. Service was superb and the waiting staff were super friendly and efficient. Food was excellent but the highlight was when the staff surprised my daughter with a cake, sparkles and singing happy birthday. It topped off a really lovely evening. Thanks so much!

    Second visit in a week after a long absence. Such a good restaurant and such a pleasure to see so many Indian families with kids and grannies too!

    This is a beautiful restaurant with fabulous food and polite and efficient staff. A good range of cocktails and specialist dishes. Good for vegetarians. We ate chana masala, tandoori broccoli and lentil dahl. All was delicious. Will definitely return soon.
