Following the success of his first restaurant in Vauxhall, chef and founder Ajay Chaurasia has opened a second site in Wimbledon, bringing his own personal take on Indian cuisine to South-west London. On offer is a range of lesser-known regional dishes along with plenty of tried-and-tested favourites so there’s something for everyone at this bright and cheerful restaurant.

Chaurasia’s aim is to bring together flavours from all over the Indian continent, Sharing appetizers includes the likes of king prawns (Tiltala Jhinga) and sticky tamarind wings with avocado chat - a contemporary spin on the classic street food snack. Tandoor highlights include Murgh Hariyali Tikka, which is grilled chicken breast marinated with fresh green spices and yoghurt, as well as vegan options, too.

(Bombay Delight does not use any ingredient that contains artificial coloring agent or flavor in our dishes. We use natural ingredients & products as far as possible to keep consumers healthier & happier.)

This is a lovely restaurant a short walk from Wimbledon Station. I have been a few times now and it has never let me down. The restaurant is roomy and tastefully decorated. Staff are attentive and friendly. All the food we've eaten there has been delicious. Really fresh and full of flavour. Everything presented well too. I'll definitely be going back soon.

Great service but the food was average and noise levels too high. At busy times don’t expect to chat to the people across the table from you.

Last night, l and my fashion friends were dining, and l was so pleased (not surprised) that they shared in my delight in th atmosphere, the exquisite food (bravo! Once again chef 🙏) and not to forget the amazing service and hospitality of the staff. Thank you for another lovely evening 〽️〽️

A very helpful young lady talked us through the menu and the fresh fish on the trolley. Especially helpful as one of our party is a coeliac needing gluten free. Great service throughout and the food was especially good. We will be back! Thanks

Would recommend the food as being an Indian who cooks at home from scratch. Definitely a restaurant on my list.
