Bombay Bustle is inspired by the tiffin tin carriers, the institution of men who use Mumbai’s famed local railway to deliver home cooked meals across the city. The Maddox Street restaurant pays homage to the culture and people, whose expanse of origins from across India have influenced its culinary history.

The menu sees recreations of some of the city’s most loved dishes alongside family recipes. Seasonal delights, inspired by Mumbai and the surrounding areas, include Bambaiya Ragda topped with dry peas and honey yogurt , Pickling spice Lamb chop , Rarah Kheema Pao and a Jalebi Cheesecake with Bombay Cutting Chai .

Went for my husbands Birthday, service and food was amazing. It really does make the difference when you have staff around and not having to wait around for them. Been to places where the staffs are soo busy and you end up waiting around for your bill etc

Have dined here several times in the past but this time, the food was average. It was very noisy ~ and being a Wednesday night, unexpected. The restaurant was air conditioned but too cool for comfort. Upstairs was much warmer as were the toilets! Lacklustre overall.

On the pricier side but the food was delicious and the service was great. Took my dad for Father’s Day and he loved it too.

We went to celebrate a family birthday. We have been multiple times before, including with our 10 year old daughter. However, this time they refused to make anything less spicy, so that our daughter could eat it. When we came before with our daughter the chef made some things less spicy. They said the chicken wasn’t spicy so we ordered it and I tasted it first and could barely eat it, let alone our daughter. They said just let her have yoghurt but our daughter doesn’t eat yoghurt. Our daughter was left having naan bread and rice for her birthday. The staff was rude, aloof and didn’t care. It was a horrible experience and we won’t be going back. We left after the main course and had a wonderful experience with desserts and drinks at a top-rated restaurant closeby instead.

The drinks, food, service and ambience were all simply fantastic. An excellent evening, well done to everyone involved and we will definitely be returning.
