Took longer to get food. Very small portion size. Expensive. Average food.

Really good food. Service was good but the interiors are not that great. It feels like a diner from the 90s with fake plants and really boring ambience. I think the chef did a wonderful job with the food but if I’m going to do something celebratory this isn’t going to be the restaurant I would go to. It feels like a hotel restaurant but literally the most boring one.

We chit-chatted with friends we hadn't seen prior to Covid for 3.5 hours and the restaurant let us do that without any problem. John, our server, was everything you love about SF hospitality. The food was really good, especially the crab soup! We would go again and recommend trying out Bombay Brasserie.

The food was very good. The portion size was small for the mains. The waiting time for the servers to approach with the menu and then for the food was very long on a non busy week day. Though the staff was nice and pleasant. There was no restroom within the restaurant. You have to go up to the hotel and then a staff would take you to the restroom on the second floor taking 5 to 10 mins to reach the restroom.

Very poor service. Got the order wrong and missed other parts of the dinner service.

We were staying at the hotel and were excited to eat at this newly re-opened, re-imagined restaurant. While our experience unfortunately didn't meet our expectations, we believe after some time being open that the overall experience will improve and thus we look forward to visiting again.

My wife and I decided to try to newly opened Bombay Brasserie for a special occasion. It was very good. The staff was very attentive and friendly. The seating was comfortable and we had a lot of room. The chairs, however, were very heavy and difficult to move. We spent a considerable amount of time looking at the menu and asking about the ingredients. If our waiter, John, did not know he went to the kitchen and checked with the chef. They were very good about accommodating us. We ordered a nice selection of food, more than we could finish, just to try out a lot of their dishes. All were well prepared and tasty. We enjoyed our casual and relaxed dinner and will be returning to try some additional things. During our meal, the chef, Thomas George, came to our table and asked how we were enjoying ourselves. We told him that so far everything was outstanding.

We were lucky enough to score a reservation on their second night of operation and I must admit I was truly impressed. Our server John was absolutely delightful and due to my one particular food allergy, the Executive Chef, Thomas George, actually came out to the table to speak with me personally. He asked me my likes and dislikes and he specially prepared two dishes for me that would showcase his culinary talents and meet my dietary restriction. It was absolutely amazing and I cannot say enough about the entire experience! We will most definitely go back on our next trip to San Francisco. Congratulation to the entire Bombay Brasserie Team!
