Small, wonderful tucked away Indian bistro. Really delicious food, in regular people sized portions, with subtle and delightful flavors. The Short Rib was particularly good and a spin on 'usual' Indian flavors. A+

We celebrated my husband’s birthday with a group of friends. Wonderful service, food, and atmosphere. This is one of our favorite restaurants in the city.

Looked and tasted good, generous portions. BUT the 1980s music was unbearably ridiculously loud, dominated everything. It took the potential joy out of the meal. Conversation was difficult, could barely hear our waiter. My wife and I were having a date night. If I'm dropping $125 on dinner, I expect a better atmosphere. The waiter turned down the music when asked - and two songs later it was back up, full blast, Boston, Queen, Thin Lizzy and Creedence Clearwater (?!). I work professionally as a sound designer, I know what I'm talking about. We wont go back.

Food was great. Lots of flavor. We tried the Lady Luck and Aperol Spritz drinks, my coworkers didn’t seem to love theirs. Staff was nice, service was average, they didn’t check on us much, forgot to give us a dessert menu, and at one point, stopped refilling our water glasses. But again, the staff was nice. Tried a few appetizers, they gave us Indian milk donuts on the house, and were out of rose ice cream so gave us delicious chocolate cake. The booth seating was a bit uncomfortable in that it sort of felt like you were forced to sit super upright. It’s a small place with fun decor. A great spot for a meal!

Found this place last minute while in NYC for my brother’s birthday. Love the staff, cocktails and food. Everything we had was so delicious. They did a fun happy birthday thing for him too! Will definitely be back when I go back to NYC!
