Poor service, couldn’t answer any questions we had, wasn’t clear about how the menu or the drinks worked, abrupt and borderline rude. We didn’t speak directly to the manager however our waiter had to ask him several questions and quite frankly his attitude from a distance appeared negative and unfriendly. FAR to loud, couldn’t talk, couldn’t hear anything. Music was way too loud for a restaurant. I appreciate music is a good addition however this was completely miss judged. The food was nice and this is the only thing that saved this experience.

Food was very disappointing, especially the pasta. We had the carbonara (which is an easy dish), the ragu pasta and the red prawns tagliolini. The first two had zero taste, the guanciale was burnt, the ragu sauce was very liquid and the red prawns were tiny (not much to eat). Cocktails were average. Service and ambience were good though ! But we probably won’t come back

We came last night and everything was perfect, the food, wine, the staff so attentive and the illusionist entertainment. Thank you so much - we will be back!!

Having been to the Marylebone branch which we enjoyed soo much , we wanted to try the Soho branch - it was utter disappointing. The staff were trying to rush us through the orders - like we were having our drinks and the staff came and asked us for our food order thrice in 15 minutes. My partner is allergic to crustacean but loves pasta, but both rnanches pasta is either crustacean based or vegetarian. When we asked the marylebone branch if they could provide a custom pasta made with chicken, they were more than happy to make one. In fact it was so good, that it was the prime reason to go back to Bocconcino albeit the Soho branch. But Soho straight away refused to make any custom pasta. When we told them about Marylebone, they just said “Oh we don’t do that here”. Utterly disappointed with the whole experience. Will go to Marylebone if we had too but never ar Soho.

Service by the blonde chap was good but the shorter brunette lady was terrible. The restaurant was very noisy even though it wasn’t full, possibly not enough soft surfaces to absorb sound. My meal arrived lukewarm. I think there are better value Italian restaurants nearby with better ambience.

The service, the ambiance and the food are all amazing! We came some time ago (from NY) and it was one of the best Italian meals we’d had. Decided to come back and we were not disappointed. The space looks even more beautiful and the food is just as good. The quality and flavors were amazing, the cocktails delicious. Highlights were the fish filet of seabass, and the lemon cakefor dessert. Highly recommend!

This restaurant is first class, service, food, staff all of it. Offers personal service, very attentive to all of our questions. We were there mid week for a dinner shared with friends who had eaten there before. The menu is extensive. Food was fresh, served hot from the kitchen. Thoroughly enjoyed every bite, we are sure to return.
