As Texas’ No.1 Steakhouse, Bob’s Steak & Chop House gives steak lovers what they want, great food and plenty of it. Beef rules in the richly appointed dining rooms of mahogany and red, with crisp white table cloths and cozy booths. Join us for dinner or enjoy a premium cigar in our Cigar Lounge. The perfect atmosphere for business or pleasure. DRESS CODE: We do not allow ball caps in the restaurant. Overly casual attire is not accepted. We consider tank tops, flip flops, boldly logoed clothing, gym and athletic attire, and provocative clothing too casual for Bob’s Steak & Chop House.

As a retired investment professional, I've had the pleasure of dining in top restaurants coast to coast and while the Bob's experience was just okay my overall rating was 3. Mainly l, because we felt the prices were exceptionally high. $23 for Johnny Walker black is excessive and the sides while delicious were o either top expensive. Finally, my wife and I split the ribeye a d it was overcooked and frankly I'm not sure that it wasn't a NY strip as it was not tender enough for a ribeye. Sorry for the review as we felt the restaurant was overrated.

An already excellent gem gets even better. Food and service excellent and the willingness of management to ensure even special requests are met is a cherry on top. Dimitri is a caring and attentive server who goes above and beyond to make sure every dining experience is unsurpassed. A genuine pleasure to dine at Bob’s!

A wonderful dining experience as always. We were especially pleased with our server, Martin. Our only disappointment was that my spouse’s filet was over salted. Oddly my filet was fine.

We tried to book New Years Eve dinner at Bob’s in Plano, but unfortunately there was no availability. We have always enjoyed the Bob’s in Plano, The food, service, atmosphere, etc are always superb. Bob’s in McKinney is a whole different story. A complete lack of attention and concern by the staff. All the food was all sub-par, especially the $65 filet. The salad, shrimp appetizer, and all sides were all disappointing. I used the men’s room soon after our arrival and it was dirty, with paper towels scattered around and one dispenser empty. I came back again an hour later and both dispensers were empty and the rest room was even more disgusting! We won’t be back!

Great dinner! We shared a steak (bone-in Wagyu strip) and added sides (mac ‘n cheese & creamed spinach). Everything was delicious! Too full for desert, so we took a slice of carrot cake with us. It’s was huge…equivalent to about 4 deserts at other steak houses. Sorry for lack of pictures. We were too busy enjoying the evening!

Four of us out for my sons birthday. We were seated right away. Clancy was out waiter. He knew the menu well and was willing to accommodate to make our meal fantastic. He was knowledgeable, professional, and personable. The food was served hot and exactly as we ordered. The portions were nice sized too. The staff at Bob’s aims to please and everyone we spoke to was great. The meal was pricey but delicious. Bidenomics has taken a toll on restaurants across the board. No doubt, I will be back. This is my favorite steakhouse in the north Dallas area.

We had the BEST experience. The wait staff went above and beyond. We traveled from California and were very impressed with the service and overall experience.
