I wish I’d known they would be showing the World Series on their bar TV’s in he center of the room. The handful of people who were at the bar watching were yelling and cursing really loud. Not at all what I would expect from a “high end” steakhouse. Other than that the food and service were great

Love that we have one in McKinney now. This was my wife’s 50th birthday dinner, so we wanted something special and the staff did not disappoint. We will be back.

                                                                                                                                  Our first time eating at this restaurant, while visiting TX. to attend a wedding. The NY strip steak and the veal chop were absolutely delicious. The steak had a buttery flavor which practically melted in your mouth. Our server was extremely pleasant and very attentive to our needs. The restaurant has a very classy vibe!! We will definitely be back here next time we visit our TX. friends.

                                                                                                                                  Onion rings, Wagyu bone in strip, and lobster Mac and cheese were delicious. The cheesecake was good, but I could've done without the slight lemon flavor. Our server, Jay, was fantastic.

                                                                                                                                  The most important thing here is that the steak was amazing. The glazed carrot that comes with the entree was really good, as were the sauteed mushrooms I opted for on the side. Service was exceptional and quick. However, my two main problems with Bob's are value and ambience. Yes, this is an upper-end steak house so you don't expect a lot of value but to not even get a salad as part of a $100 per person meal is ridiculous. So, too, is the level of noise. Wood panel walls and standard seating work well as a visual but this has to be the loudest restaurant I've ever sat inside. I've been twice to the McKinney locations and sat in two different sections and both times it was noisier than patio seating at other restaurants. The entire room needs to be reconfigured and sound deadening material needs to be added to the inner walls. Having an open, noisy bar as the centerpiece does not help matters. One other thing for those going to the McKinney location; valet park. Parking is rough. I finally figured out that the "private" parking garage actually does allow for Bob's parking (at least, I think it does) but I had already parked elsewhere.
