Bob’s Steak & Chop House specializes in serving big, flavorful steaks that are hand-selected from the top two percent of USDA prime beef along with Texas-sized portions of our award-winning sides. Our mouth-watering, legendary seafood and cuts of meat are absolutely delicious as we use homemade and local ingredients to enhance the flavor of our signature menu items.

The food was good, but the steak was half fat and not the quality I would expect from an over priced steak. Other things that bothered us going to a restaurant of this alleged quality was I had use the same steak knife for everything from cutting the bread served as an appetizer, the butter it came with and my steak. The table was also never cleared to give us more room to enjoy the entree properly. To other tourists coming to this restaurant you will over pay and be underwhelmed.

Service was unpolished and lax, long periods of absence between stages of dinner. Even valet took 20 minutes to bring the car around, and the hotel was almost dead. Lights out on exterior hotel sign…maybe they can’t get good help like the rest of us. It’ll probably be a while before I return.

I always love the filet! Highly recommend. And the bacon appetizer was yummy too.

This restaurant is located in the Omni hotel. Michael and I were very excited to try this restaurant. It did not disappoint. Our waiter was Nate. He was extremely helpful since this was are first time dining at Bob’s. We both ordered a cocktail. I order the special which was salmon with polenta and broccolini. Michael ordered the Prime Ribeye. His meal came with a baked potato and a carrott! The carrot was baked with cinnamon and honey it was perfect! We had crème brûlée and coffee. It was a wonderful experience and we will definitely be returning!

Everything was excellent. Had the lamb chops which were incredible, a seasonal passion fruit martini and caprese salad. Service was great.

We have been here about 5-6 times in the last few years. Chef James Moran has taken a good upper end experience and made it outstanding. The shrimp trio appetizer was tasty. My wife preferred the shrimp cocktail while I jumped on the shrimp remoulade. I have preferred the lobster bisque from a Westport Rd steakhouse for some time. The bisque at Bob’s is better than than anything else in town. Creamy, smooth, full of lobster and no chewy lumps. I had my filet Pittsburg and medium rare. Cooked to perfection with no need for the truffle butter. The lobster tail was tender, well seasoned and larger than comparable accompaniments around town. The giant carrot is a tradition at Bob’s. I am not typically a fan, but it was gently seasoned and tender. The skillet potatoes were delicious. I am not a fan of onions, but this side almost made me like them. My wife had a trio of filet medallions. One had au poivre, another had green chimichurri and the other I can’t remember. She loved all 3 and took the asparagus home with one of the medallions. The cocktail and bourbon selections had a mix of low to high end. The bar staff prepared a couple of lemon drop martinis for my wife while I hit the bourbon. Bobs has a barrel of “16 Hands” bourbon. I believe it may be from Makers. I am not really a Makers guy, but this barrel, selected by Chef James, was smooth and oaky with a little spice at the finish. We saved zero room for desert. In the past we have enjoyed the key lime pie (Bob’s version of my favorite Key West desert) and the marble chocolate cheesecake. We will be back again. Soon.
