Installé dans la rue 54th Street, le Bobby Vans propose un excellent service et une délicieuse cuisine, comme dans tous ses autres restaurants. Cet établissement est niché dans un quartier historique (autrefois, c'était le lieu de prédilection des stars comme Franck Sinatra ou d'autres stars du Rat Pack). Ses murs sont chargés d'Histoire et renferment des anecdotes jamais révélées, si seulement ils pouvaient parler. Vous apprécierez son emplacement idéal, à l'est de Park Avenue et à 4 pâtés de maisons au nord du Waldorf-Astoria. Lors que vous entrerez dans le restaurant, vous serez accueilli par le personnel ainsi que par une grande vitrine remplie de bonnes bouteilles de vin. Si vous jetez un coup d’œil sur votre gauche, vous surplomberez le bar spacieux et bondé, où les barmen connaissent votre nom et vous préparent un verre avant même que vous ne leur ayez dit bonjour. Le bar et la salle à manger sont séparés par une vitre vous permettant de regarder tous les autres convives en train de savourer leur repas. La salle à manger affiche un bon vieux style steakhouse et présente des murs lambrissés artisanaux.

Our dining spaces can be divided into a space as intimate as a party of 12 or can be fully opened to accommodate a party of up to 140. Both of our boardrooms are ideal for corporate functions and any other type of personal function you may be having. When dining in our private boardrooms, our guests have the option of ordering from our "Daily Menu" or our "Private Event Menus".

As always the staff is fantastic and the food incomparable. Porterhouse was perfection.

Incredible staff, they brought out a cheesecake for my friends birthday and sang as well. Very friendly and knowledgeable of their steak offerings too!

Decor was old and sloppy. Willing in entrance had high chairs and broken tables piled up at front door. Hostess was short and rude. Place was empty. Holiday decor was cheap and uncaring. Service tried. Place was deserted, old, dingy and unkempt. Food was below average.

The staff could not be more attentive and interested in our dining experience. The food matched our he service which is a rare occurrence. Thank you.

Sirloin is not same cut as NY or KC strip in the rest of America. Mine was tough. I studied meat sciences in college and love a great steak. Just be real about what it is

Last minute reservations. We were greeted and seated promptly. Waiter was very nice, although he got busy and we didn’t see him for awhile. BangBang Shrimp was delicious and plentiful. Harry’s salad was so good. Vinaigrette was light and delicious. Added salmon that was cooked perfect, I prefer chefs keep skin on and make crispy, but that didn’t happen. Overall lovely dinner

They were not good with a holiday rush and I felt they took it out on us with rushing us and giving us time frames to eat/complete. Unhappy experience today.

The food and service was amazing. I would go back again just for that. But it was so loud you could not have a conversation. Which ruins the dinner for me. And we were not sitting too close to the bar either.

I was bit turned off when the host said he needed the table by 6:30pm I thought that was quite rude when I had a reservation and clearly there were many available tables. Our server was so kind and very knowledgeable. Luckily we got most of our food to go and we were able to give them their cramped table by 6:40.

Nothing memorable about the sides, every thing either lacked basic seasoning or went overboard. Presentation and service was basic, nothing to write home about. A bit pushy at times with upselling, clearing plates too early, and a tad too fussy for our group. Next time I’m in midtown I’d consider coming in for the porterhouse but that’s about it.
