I’m not one to give low ratings, but since I rely on them when choosing restaurants, I feel compelled to. The seafood stew was inedibly salty, and we sent it back. The waitress said someone else had complained it was too spicy earlier. The replacement burger was a solid, good burger. The blackened salmon had no discernible Cajun spices and was simply seared to be dark, and was thus overcooked. On the way out, I realized this restaurant is attached to a Windham Hotel. The restaurant website doesn’t make this clear. I’d never actively choose to eat at a hotel chain restaurant. My bad. But also their bad, for the food.

We made a reservation online, went to the restaurant to find out they were closed. When we checked in the hotel should’ve told us that they were closed. We understand that things happen and emergencies come up, but when we checked in, they should’ve told us that the restaurant was closed. Very disappointed.

Both dinners were good. Wife didn’t want blackened salmon, so the chef just grilled it to perfection. My chicken dinner was good as well. Service was great!

Beautiful room and view of the lake. Drinks are excellent! Food is good, suggest sticking with the basics.

Service was horrendous. Took a long time for someone to even acknowledge we were at a table and ready to order, then waiter was consistently no where to be found (and restaurant was mostly empty). Would not go back, even though food was pretty good.

We stayed at the lodge and thought it would be a good idea to have breakfast there. When we walked in there was only one table sitting down. We stood there for a while and were told to sit wherever we want. I’m not sure if the host/waitress was having a bad morning but she was not pleasant and rude when she gave us the menu. She left somewhere and we sat there for a while feeling uncomfortable so… we left.

We enjoyed a delicious meal at the Boathouse. My husband had the Reuben with those delicious home made chips and a caesar salad. I had the margarita flatbread with a garden salad. Excellent. A nice glass of whispering angel and a blue moon topped it off perfectly. Waitress was very attentive. Prices were very reasonable.. lovely view as well. A perk of staying at the hotel is a 15 percent off coupon. Nice touch.

We went for dinner because the website said there would be music .., there was none so that was disappointing.. The airline chicken was good .. not great but very good. Garlic mashed potatoes were excellent Dinner roll very small ., ordered a salad and it was mostly kale .. nothing stated it would be kale .. not a kale fan … the room was some what border line chilly. Service was ok .. the waiter tried but obviously pretty green .. we will try it again
