A host never came to seat me and my family down. We stood there for 15 mins and nobody never even asked anything. We left and went to Joeys across the street.

My husband ordered caviar as a treat and it wasn’t served with the standard accompaniments. No chopped egg, no chopped onion, no blini or toast. Inexcusable if it’s on the menu.

Went to celebrate my son’s 16th birthday and my wife and I ordered the porterhouse for two, medium rare. When the steak arrived it was overcooked closer to well done, which the staff acknowledged and said they would get us another. Our server came back to the table with the original steak and informed us that this was their last porterhouse so we could eat the original overcooked steak for 50% off or they would be happy to take a new order from us. Mind you, I wouldn’t have eaten that steak for free and politely declined; at this point, my kids had already finished their dinners and we didn’t want to wait any longer for new steaks. The manager came over to apologize and we also declined placing a new order. He did bring out a wagyu beef stick appetizer and my son did get dessert on the house. We’ve been a few times and this time was our last given the other local options like Flemings or The Arthur J, or if you want to drive a little bit Mastro’s is superior. The whole offering the original overcooked steak was a big misstep. It’s unfortunate how the service industry nowadays is very poor. At an establishment like this, we would have been won over if they just took it upon themselves and brought out a filet and strip cooked asap, comp’d or with a steep discount without even any back and forth. Very disappointing experience unfortunately.

Fantastic experience from beginning to end. Staff was welcoming and attentive. Food was amazing. Ambiance is warm yet open.
