    WE try to eat healthy...rather than sticking to meat and potatoes and seafood is one of our main courses. Bluewater Grill is relatively close to our home and I would say that we have eaten there at least 25 times in this current year....mostly with another couple. This visit was just the two of us. Fortunately they were not too busy on a Sunday early afternoon. I ordered the Blackened Swordfish and I had not had it before...it was excellently prepared. My wife ordered the walnut crusted Halibut...which is one of her favorites. She rarely orders something else because she loves halibut and the way it is prepared. 2 fantastic meals!

    Great food. Staff did a great job accommodating special food needs of one our guests and because of their attention we always return to this restaurant Blue Water Grill for special occasions for our family

    Great service. Nice ambiance but the food was so so. Wife and I both had tuna which is always either excellent, so so, or bad. At Bluewater the night we dined it was so so.

    The fish is very fresh, the portions are perfect, the surface was quick and polite. The best meal we have had in Temecula.

    The swordfish is legendary. My plate was cleared. I could eat it everyday of my life and never tire. I could’ve ordered it again after eating it that night. When it came to the table next to us, I seriously considered asking the man if I could eat his swordfish too. Our server Courtney was excellent and attentive, and she offered an amazing wine pairing for the dream dish. I want to go again tonight, but I know I need to give the swordfish some space so that when we meet again, it’s just as magical as the first time.

    Delicious fish stew! Service was terrific. Would certainly recommend this restaurant unequivocally.

    Ambience: Old like a diner. The name doesnt fit the decor inside Seating: Weird corner table facing the entrance was offered. Preferred a booth and we said we can wait for it to be cleaned but the hostess didnt bother so we sat on some tables and chairs/ Service: Waitress changed immediately but wasnt on break. Maybe she didnt like us. New waitress didnt bother to clean up the empty appetizer plates when the main dishes showed up. Food: Bread is the best thing in this place. Poke was ok. Scallops and Seafood Paella were flavorless and disgusting. Scallops were rubbery and over seared. We ate only 1/4 of the plate and wanted to escape from this place. Who puts grits, corn and undercooked chopped asparagus mixed with scallops for $40? Overall: If you like seafood, this is not the place. If you like a diner, this is not the place for you. Only New York strip as a red meat option. If you just want to eat and waste over 120+ for 2 people on food that is tasteless with strange textures and appearance, this is the perfect place for you.

    The serving staff were neither very friendly nor attentive. I ordered the same dish with side option 2 days prior at the Santa Barbara location (which has FANTASTIC service), but was told by our server in Temecula that they couldn’t honor the request. Bit a great way to start things and it was downhill from there.
