The Bluewater Grill is a seafood restaurant and oyster bar that serves fresh, delicious entrees and has won numerous awards since its creation. The establishment has a strict set of criteria when selecting what fish and ingredients to use, thus ensuring that what makes it to each plate is as healthy and fresh as it can be. The owners of Bluewater Grill have stated time and again that they aren't in business just to serve food, but to do it in a way that is environmentally friendly and protects the sustainability of the fish's ecosystem. Guests at Bluewater Grill can order meals such as sea bon bons (sashimi-style scallops), New England clam chowder, fresh fish, Wagyu beef burgers, Alaskan king crab legs and lobster tails. This has to be ranked as one if our top meals in years. The food was all excellent but the service made it over the top. The management must be complimented because everyone we encountered from the hostess stand to the bussers were friendly, accommodating, and capable. The highlight was definitely our server, Kelly. We were dining with my elderly parents and she was so considerate. She got down to their level by knelling, leaned in to hear what they were saying, smiled and gave great eye contact, anticipated dietary issues they had and made recommendations, and was attentive the whole time. When a salad came out from the kitchen with the incorrect type of lettuce, she didn’t miss a beat… she stated just keep it for the table then apologized and said ”I will be back with another one”. Throughout the meal she and her team stopped by the table to refill drinks, replenish bread, and clear. The restaurant was busy but they were in top of it and no one ever seemed frazzled. We definitely felt like we were guests of the restaurant and not just diners.

Food was tasty. They brought the main course just after the salad. I complained. They did nothing. Sometimes team servicing fails to coordinate like this visit.

We had a lovely lunch. We were taking into the bar area and it was a little noisy even though the rest of the restaurant was not full… We did have a lovely window seat. Our server was excellent and the food was very good. We had salad so it’s more difficult to judge food when you’re eating just salads.

My Halibut dinner and swordfish were very good but it was a bit noisy.

A smell of a dead rat when you walk in better sitting outside. Management must check those rat traps!!
