Situated directly opposite Windsor Castle. With a passion for Real American BBQ, it is our quest to bring the genuine flavours of the Southern States to the UK.

For lunch & dinner we serve our smoked meats, all cooked the true American way which means our BBQ pitmasters work around the clock to ensure the 'cue we serve when our doors open is the best you will find - it takes nearly 48 hours of loving care and attention to perfect each of our smoked meat cuts.

For breakfast, we serve up freshly made-to-order American pancakes with delicious toppings, as well as fully loaded smoked breakfast plates.

The restaurant was quiet as we went for breakfast. Food took at least 30 minutes to come. However half of the tables food came and then we had to wait an extra 10 minutes for the other half to arrive. The food was flavourless and looked like prison food. There was 5 of us and not one person was happy. No one did a check back on us or anything. Definitely would not recommend for breakfast.

Food was lovely, although kids dippers were pretty spicy for a child’s meal. Having the American drinks was a nice touch and we enjoyed some different sodas and juices to normal. Thought the burgers were expensive as many didn’t come with chips or any side, but some mains did so we ordered those. Waiting staff seemed overwhelmed with delivery orders at times so service was often slow and they forgot things more than once. Ambiance was good and decor was fun. Overall, wouldn’t go back or recommend to a friend.

Good food, fairly reasonable on price, service not so great. We either had a waitress who had absolutely no idea about anything. They went to take our order but we asked to come back but then never surfaced. It took a lot of us looking around to gain their attention. Then whilst we were waiting for our food, they were all on a break outside. This wasn’t really a problem until food came because the girl dropped it off, didn’t about drinks or condiments and the fact we were missing something from the order and left. So whilst I was looking around for help, someone from their break had to come in and help. All in all, it was ok but a bit bizarre to be totally honest with you. Wouldn’t rush back for the food.

Food was nice, and server was friendly but we were left a long time waiting to order, and we were considering a dessert but again left a long time so had to leave before our parking ran out. It was very quiet but it seemed like there was only one server between 3 floors. Overall it was nice but we've been to better BBQ places.

So, we were sat on the 2nd floor on our own at 6:05. At 6:45 I went downstairs to the bar to ask if we ordered at the bar. No one had come to see us. For clarity, the restaurant was not busy aaaaat all. Food arrived at 7:30- that’s just too long. Far too long. Food was ok at best. The £52 pit boss platter is not worth the money in any way. It was ok, but the brisket was so dry and tough, I would describe it as inedible- tiny piece of chicken was in no way big enough to share. I’ll leave that there. Nothing was good. After our plates had been sitting for Christ knows how long, we went downstairs and paid at the bar assuming no one was going to come up and either; ask if our food was ok, nor clear plates, nor offer dessert. Etc. Having been to; smoke pit, Bodeans, Blues, The big easy, cattleman’s, Bubba Q’s, ministry of meat- to name a few… this is the single biggest embarrassment to Barbecue food in the U.K. but man alive the service……. Man alive the service. Although I did find it funny to see a service charge automatically on my bill…. Well I think we’ll remove that please. Just avoid. Go anywhere else.

First time eating at Bluegrass ,Windsor. It was fantastic! Growing up in the USA , it brought back alot of memories. The food was brilliant. Service was friendly, music was great. Worth the money spent. We definately will visit again. Thankyou . 😁 Recommend to everyone!

It was fine but not really beyond that. Food was quite slow but waiter did apologise and it wasn’t an issue as we weren’t going anywhere. Chips were a bit soggy and a dessert pie was really a cheesecake. I was expecting a pie that they have in the US

Food was great slightly disappointed in the sharing platter at 52.95 wasn't sure how they anticipated you share a chicken leg between two???? The Corn side dish was amazing though
