' ..... Welcome to Bluebird, a wood-fired steakhouse featuring the best of Alberta beef including your favorite classic cuts and all-day-roasted Prime rib. Bluebird is where brunch and cocktails collide into fireside lunch which glides into happy hour and then swooshes into dinner where the après begins. With the fire stoked high, we are ready for you to ski through the front door and tell us all about it. It’s always a bluebird day in our mid-century chalet.

We had the happy hour fondue! Absolutely delicious. We added the prime rib side and we were stuffed. Perfect amount for two people. We sat inside and it had a very cozy vibe but the outside looked very fun with the fire tables going. Popular spot- recommend reservations. Highly recommend the happy hour for great value.

Fun and rememberable! The appetizers were amazing and the steaks were cooked perfectly. Service was spot on. Every detail was thought out all the way down to the bathrooms!

I love it!!! It’s nice, we had a steak wagu 45 days dry! So delicious! Deserts were also great!

Ambience is excellent. Our food was excellent. We had the beef tenderloin and the rib eye. Veg side orders are expensive but all shareable. We had a wonderful evening.

The service was outstanding. I ordered cocktails that weren’t on the menu and the bartender made them to perfection. Our server was attentive and really great. The food was good but was overpriced for what it was. We had 2 starters, 2 mains with sides, 1 dessert. We had 4 cocktails and 5 beers. Before tip it was $330 and that is with the GST exemption. We thought the meal would have been more appropriately priced in the mid $200s. The restaurant was good but be prepared to spend a lot.

Cozy restaurant with a nice atmosphere. Had the 8 oz tenderloin which was cooked to the right temp but was still a bit dry. Overall a good spot when you’re in Banff. Friendly staff.

An absolute TERRIBLE experience. We were seated at our table where e we sat for over 15 minutes, and yet staff just keep walking past us and ignoring us. I had to get up and get us a bottle of water myself from the counter, and still nobody came to attend us. We finally were able to get someone’s attention and shortly after a girl came, apologizing for the confusion, but the service didn’t get any better. In fact, I won’t refer to her as a server because she didn’t actually serve our food and we didn’t see her again the entire meal. Worse, though, was how burned the food was!! Seriously, black charcoal on French onion soup?? The bitterness was horrible. We should have sent it back, we were so disappointed. Then came our prime rib dinners and broccolini which were ALSO all burned. Why do they burn everything?? We actually like a little crisp on the meat to render the fat, but the fat WASN’T rendered yet all edges of the prime rib were burned a good half an inch all the way around. We never had anyone check in on us, bring more water, or even offer dessert or coffee. We couldn’t wait to get out of there. I was angry that my husband left any tip at all. Not a cent was deserved and the meal was way overpriced for the poor cooks on everything.

Went for Happy Hour and loved the half price fondue. Great decor and ambiance however music was too loud. (Music volume was the only real issue- great music but just too loud when you want to visit over fondue. Would for sure come back for the fondue and ambiance
