Bluebird is where brunch and cocktails collide into fireside lunch which glides into happy hour and then swooshes into dinner where the après begins. My wife and I ordered the french onion soup. The broth had a nice beefy flavor and there were plenty of sliced onions bits in the broth. I would have liked more gruyère cheese in my soup. I had the 10 ounce prime rib which was perfectly cooked medium rare. The meat was quite tasty. A. server provided horseradish and au jus for the prime rib. The yorkshire pudding did not add much to the dish. I also ordered oyster mushrooms that were sautéed with garlic. These mushrooms were flavorful. We topped off the meal with key lime pie. I have tasted key lime pie in many restaurants including Key West Florida. This rendition of key lime pie with white chocolate mouse was one of the best I have eaten anywhere. Service was attentive and prompt. The value of the meal certainly met our expectations. I would definitely try this restaurant if you are visiting Banff Canada.

The food was punching above it’s price range. Probably the best hash browns I’ve ever had. Service was refreshingly positive.

Went here July 17 for happy hour fondue and wine. It was wonderful. We had to ask for the happy hour menu. Just be aware of that
