Bluebird is where brunch and cocktails collide into fireside lunch which glides into happy hour and then swooshes into dinner where the après begins. With the fire stoked high, we are ready for you to ski through the front door and tell us all about it. It’s always a bluebird day in our mid-century chalet.

It took a while to get the food, but it was worth the wait. Souflee pancakes were divine, and they didn't skimp on the salmon or hollandaise sauce for the eggs benny. The only tragedy was a lack of gluten-free hashbrowns. Pan-fry some potatoes for the gluten-free people!

Bluebird was busy but everyone was well-looked after by staff who were friendly and helpful. Food was delicious.

The service this morning was amazing! Friendly and attentive, while giving us space to enjoy our meal. We had the prime rib toast and French toast, both were phenomenal! The ambiance is elegant and elevated without feeling too formal! Highly recommend!

The service was incredible. They were very accommodating even on such a busy night (New Year's Eve). The wagyu was really good but most of the rest of the food was pretty disappointing. All of the vegetable sides had an over powering charred flavour, and not like charcoal but more like a fake gas burnt flavour. The risotto was made with barley and had so many odd flavours. One bite was creamy, the next sweet, and the next was like Frank's Redhot. And the cocktails we ordered were called something "colada" but tasted like sour pineapple juice with way too much lime, not blended, not even close to a pina colada. Overall, it was a pretty disappointing meal. The staff were excellent though, and the ambiance was nice.

Best place to eat in Banff is Bluebird, in my opinion. Food is phenomenal and unique. Drinks were good too! Not inexpensive but worth it!

The French onion soup was very good. The key lime pie was also great. I ordered the prime rib and was promised it would be tender. It was very tough. Truth is I would not order this steak and highly recommend you choose something different.

We’ve come to Banff for several years and this is the first time we gave this place a try. It was outstanding! The food was great, with some very high quality steaks and great variety of drinks. One of our party members ordered the Salmon (which might have been perceived as a risk at a steakhouse) and it was cooked perfectly! The place also has a very nice and cozy feel to it! Service was ok, but could have used a few more visits for drink orders. That said, still an amazing experience and we will definitely be back!

This is a relatively new restaurant in Banff. We were there on December 30th 2024. It was busy and wait time for service was rather long. This is mostly a steak house. You expect to get a nice hot steak. Ours arrived luke warm which was at best disappointing. We did not send it back as we figured the wait time would be excessive and our side dishes would get cold while waiting. Probably better to go to this restaurant in the off season
