Bluebird is where brunch and cocktails collide into fireside lunch which glides into happy hour and then swooshes into dinner where the après begins. With the fire stoked high, we are ready for you to ski through the front door and tell us all about it. It’s always a bluebird day in our mid-century chalet.

Ambience and server was great. For food— only order the food they specialize on, the steak. The kitchen seriously needs to do a taste test on their $48 Crab Spaghetti. Our family never complains about the taste of food to the server and is the type to quietly eat it all off — but man, we just had to let our server know that something tasted off. It tasted super fishy, stale, and just off-putting. The family member who ordered this were donated steak and sides from the rest of the family during dinner.

Let’s just start with how enjoyable Dylan made our evening. From great recommendations, to attentive service, and enjoyable conversation, sitting at the bar to eat was such a pleasure. The prime rib was to die for. The cheesy mashed potatoes alone would bring me back for another meal. And the tomato burrata, I thought I’d died and gone to heaven. I’ve traveled around the world, and this meal makes top five. But at the end of the evening what made this particular restaurant a real standout, was the amazing service we received from Dylan. Give that man a raise!

If you’re in rush, go to Bluebird. They’ll serve everything together from appetizer, salad and main even though you don’t have space at the table. And for the $65 corkage, they don’t even bother to come to you to serve. You’re on your own.

Really delicious brunch with kids! Lots of good options and a kids menu.

We were very well looked after. The prime rib was outstanding with Yorkshire pudding a treat for visiting brits marrying North America and the UK.

The food was fine, but expensive for what we got. They were busy, so they kept “checking on us” and eventually pushing us to leave. When it came time to pay, our server was very cold after I selected a manual tip percentage less than the default 18, 20, and 22%. I thought $33 on a $220 dinner was fair.

Service was excellent, but the rest was poor and forgettable . Even with a reservation we were stuffed into a crowded corner with no ambience and no privacy . Food was overpriced, the house salad was a few pieces of lettuce. Yorkshire pudding was like a collection of warm cardboard . Terrible experience!!!
