Blue Whale is a culinary oasis in the Marina neighborhood offering an elevated and relaxed dining experience. Enjoy authentic crafted seasonal menu of diverse Asian cuisines in our cozy dining areas, including a private lounge or a spacious outdoor patio. Sip on signature cocktails and share plates with your friends in our welcoming setting. Reservations are encouraged, but walk-ins are welcome.

Blue Table was the perfect dinner spot for our annual SF Holiday dinner. The dumplings were delicious, the cocktails perfect, the Christmas tree was beautiful. Smelled like pine .. our server (Ashley) was great and she had fabulous recommendations! It was pricey as expected for the Marina. Would def go again. Highly recommend the baked bbq pork buns and crab and pork dumpling. Family favorites!

Best new date spot for great food and vibes! First, shoutout to all the staff that made our anniversary dinner here special. Elliot, Tiffany thank you! Tiffany was our server and we basically picked all her recs off the menu and she did not miss. Everything was so delicious. Really great takes on Asian dishes.Some of our favs from the night: Evening Glory cocktail, wasabi prawns, Duck Salad, Sea Bass. The aesthetics of the interior are modern and clean. Very chic. But of course the best part was the staff and their service. We can’t wait to come back again! Thanks!

We really enjoyed our meal. We did family style and ordered a few small dishes and they were all very good.

This was one of the best meals I have had in a while. We went for my son's 21st birthday and all the staff was wonderful about it. Our server and the service we received were fantastic. While we enjoyed everything we ordered, these were the highlights: the crispy duck salad; both Xiao long bao (crab and truffle); crispy tiger prawns; tofu skin rolls. Overall it was a great experience and we will be back!

Delicious food, selected with the help of our gracious server Hailey. The variety of the menu is noteworthy. The staff were professional and friendly. Floor manager Elliott was very welcoming and made us feel special. Enjoyed meeting the chef who couldn’t have been nicer. Unexpectedly beautiful surroundings, nicely done. All in all, a memorable experience and we look forward to returning!

We visited this restaurant to celebrate a birthday. But this establishment doesn't acknowledge celebrations, so was a disappointment. The ambiance of the dining room is very nice and we enjoyed the decor. Unfortunately, our server was subpar. She was not friendly nor attentive and was standoffish. This pretty much ruined our experience at the restaurant especially since we spent a good amount of money here. Her personality was very dry. Never smiled. The food was good and would return for that. We had a good variety, and everything was tasty: Crispy Duck Salad (more duck than greens), Crab Xiao Long Bao, Beijing Dumplings, Crispy Tiger Prawns (wasn't crispy. more like steamed consistency), Roasted Duck Noodles, Oven Baked Chilean Seabass, and Stir Fried Wagyu Beef Cube.
