It was disappointing and expensive. The dirty entrance and counter should have been a clear indication of what was to come. The service was barely service, and even with the willingness to overlook shortcomings because we have had the above grade sushi in the past, even that now disappoints. After being seated next to the outdoor seating door, it was apparent we should just sit outside since someone came in and out every 45 seconds. Once outside, we were seated under a spiderweb 🕸 covered light. Unfortunately, once outside, we may as well have been in the parking lot as we had to ask twice for someone to find our server. About an hour later, our food arrived, and although the presentation was on point, the food wasn't 😕 and if it wasn't enough, the server forgot to add one of the items to the order despite her willingness to correct our pronunciation when ordering. In summary, avoid Blue Shushi unless you want to spend $300 for a $50 value. Enjoy 😉!

Food was good, but drinks were very, very pricey. Good. But very pricey. My margarita came in a 6oz glass - half filled with ice. $17.50.

The waitstaff was so sweet - they left a card congratulating us on our anniversary and offered champagne. Wonderful service and delicious food (my husband doesn’t mind sushi but it isn’t his favorite but he loved the Cowgirl roll and Brussels sprouts app). The Green Eggs & Hama and Godzilla Bomb are outstanding!

We ate at Blue twice this trip to Naperville. The service and overall experience was incredible. The only real downside was the sushi rice. It was extremely overcooked and mushy. We’re hoping that will be improved. Otherwise, the flavor of the sushi rolls is perfection. Thank you!

I think I still like this place but this last experience sucked. We went on a Wed night. Originally called to get a table for 3 and they said only available for 630. Walked in around 545 and 75% of the place was empty and got sat right away. Just don’t understand how that works but whatever. The service was mediocre, nice server but not attentive at all. Probably cuz it was me and 2 children. But had to wait forever to get a fork and knife to simply serve my children. All that said, I could look past all of it. However, the food was surprisingly not good. Specifically, the rice was undercooked so specific sections of the rice were hard. I took a bite of each to see if it was consistently bad and it was. I told the server and they just took off like 2 things from the bill, charging me for the other undercooked items, and then sent me home with a Togo bag with the undercooked rice/nigiri. All in all, we’ll probably go back but the quality and experience was terrible this time around.
