Well, this started off very rocky but glad to say that our experience ended up nicely. We booked a reservation in advance for 6:30pm. Arriving early we understood that they would have to honor our time and have us wait 15 minutes, but assured us that they would text us when the table was ready. No text came so we returned promptly at our time to find out someone else was given our table. They then asked us to wait another 15 minutes for the next one available. Now, we are in the city of Nashville and it is a huge foodie town so we are not amateurs to this show, but we were trying to make a concert at 7:30pm and knew we would be late. It would have been lovely and totally necessary to come apologize and offer a free appetizer for the inconvenience, yet no words were given and no action taken. It was almost like we had been in the wrong. As a reviewer for Yelp, I was disappointed greatly in how this was handled. Finally seated, we had a delightful server and our food came out pretty quickly. The dishes were amazing and we found some new rolls that we’ve never tried (Lion King, Cherry Bomb, Tidal Wave). I can say that we will be back, but I caution the diner to stay vigilant in having your reservation kept and stay close by the hostess stand.

Quick dinner before concert at venue across the street. Staff accommodated rush request and food was excellent. We visit again.

We never got our food after 1 and a half hours. They kept saying it’s coming and we had the manager and server both saying it will be there soon, and we never received it. The tables that were sat after us got theirs and left. We finally had to leave because we had a concert to get to. I really wanted to like this place but the food never arrived.

We had a lovely experience at Blue Sushi Sake Grill. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly and our server was very knowledgeable about all of the selections. We enjoyed everything we tried, and the ambiance was unbeatable. We will definitely return again once we're back in Nashville!

The sushi is probably good if you have NO IDEA what sushi is supposed to really taste like. “ Sushi is a Japanese dish of prepared vinegared rice, usually with some sugar and salt”. That’s the problem. They just use plain white rice for the sushi. WRONG! Bland. You would think with all the Investment in the Japanese decor, they would prepare legit sushi. Better luck next time.
