Normally an A+ modern fusion Japanese spot. Last two times we’ve been here it just wasn’t that great. Service and ambiance were great. It was the food that was very lackluster. Ordered the calamari and rangoons as our app. Rangoons were decent, but the calamari was a giant ball of overly fried tempura. We had to pull it apart to eat the individual pieces. After eating half of it, we quickly realized how heavy and oily it was on our bellies. Just not the typical experience we are used to, which didn’t sit well in the gut. We also had a maki roll that wasn’t bad. Not too sure when or if we will be back. Sorry for the negative feedback, but hopefully they will get back to the level of excellence they were at last year.

Great spot for a date, the tuna tower is a must. Drinks are pretty good. Really can’t go wrong with any of the rolls. Solid place.
