Blue Sky has an excellent outdoor dining area that was perfect on our beautiful evening. Happy hour prices went until 7pm, with great values on drinks. Our wait person, Olivia, was fun and efficient.

The food and service were excellent. We traveled 3 hours to catch a show and were not disappointed! Food service and staff were fantastic! Highly recommended visiting if you are in Pittsburgh!

We ate outside. It’s a really nice spot for that . Inside the music was so loud. Shared Shazam shrimp— delicious. One of us had a Caribbean salad and the other had a burger. All good.

I loved the outdoor covered side patio. We could hear the live music that was taking place around the corner, but it wasn’t too loud. I’ve dined at Blue Sky several times. This is the first time that the food wasn’t excellent. I ordered the Pittsburgh steak salad. The steak was great, and do done to my liking. The salad tasted like “salad in a bag,” not freshly made salad. I also asked for no cheese, which did appear on my salad. Our server never checked back with us to ask how everything was, so it was difficult to send the salad back. I tried to pick out the cheese, which was cumbersome. The server was sweet, but as I said, disappeared during the meal. I will return, as I love the large patio.

I visited blue sky when I went to a conference nearby—not from the area. The food was fantastic! I had the bahn mi sandwich and my friend had a grilled chicken salad—the best she’d ever had. Food tastes fresh and really delicious. Went back the next day for more! Place wasn’t crowded at all— but it should be, with food this good.

Nice restaurant in a old neighborhood being redeveloped. We went on Mothers Day and had reservations. We got there withe the restaurant was half empty around 5:45pm for our 6pm reservation. We were seated in the bar with high tables, while there were seats available throughout the restaurant. I asked for another table and was told they were reserved. There were tables not ever used while I was there. The bartender was our waiter. I would have given them 4 stars for the food, it was good, but my wife's steak salad had steak that was tough and overcooked even though she asked for medium. They did comp the salad, but after everything else, 3 stars was the best I could give them.
