   We had a great meal on a Tuesday evening. Our server was delightful and helpful. The shrimp and grits were the best I’ve had.

   The service was outstanding. The food was excellent, but you went there on a cold day and made reservations to sit inside. They had both garage doors wide open, and the wind was blowing through the restaurant quite uncomfortable.

   The food and drinks were delicious. Our server was good. It’s a little loud but really a fun place.

   We just ordered smash burgers and fries with ice tea, nothing special, but it was all good. Ordinarily, smash burgers are pressed thin (that’s why they’re called “smash”), which gives them a bit of crisp edges. These burgers were not like that, more of a regular hamburger. Toppings included cheese (the menu said smoked gouda), shredded lettuce and tomato, and a very sweet-flavored onion jam. They were tall, messy and drippy, and very good. Lovely patio for lunch on a sunny day.

   Food was really good. The atmosphere was casual and upbeat, perfect for a fun date night out. Would absolutely go again!

   Delicious food. Outstanding food. Everything tasted delicious and the staff did a wonderful job to celebrate my wife’s birthday.

   My husband enjoyed his quinoa / beet salad or I would have given the restaurant one star. My little gem and kale Cesar salad had no discernible kale and no little gem lettuce—just regular romaine. When I asked our server — she indicated that kale was sprinkled on top. The dressing was so salty that most of the salad was inedible. The very expensive side of four little shrimp had an off taste. The tiramisu consisted of a thick layer of cream and a slab of yellow cake. Won’t be going back.

   Server was great - she was the only one on duty and managed it with a smile. Ribs were great.

    We have eaten at Blue Ridge kitchen numerous times over the past several years and we’re so very disappointed with our most recent visit, after not having been there for over a year. Only one choice of Pinot Noir, Merlot, or cab. Only one choice of white wine. No real wine list. The Aji tuna tartar was mushy and lacking in flavor. Just very blah. The calamari steak was mushy, overcooked, and really quite flavorless. The mushy creamy sauce was way overdone and heavy handed. The only choice for fish was catfish, which is not on everyone’s Favorite list of choices. Our weight person was overbearing, frequently interrupting our conversations with unnecessary questions or check ins. She left us with no water on the table for the last 40 minutes until we had to actively flag her down. The music was very upbeat and way too loud so that we almost had to shout over each other. House music in a nice restaurant should be in the background, not overbearing. Sorry to say, we won’t be back anytime soon.
