Blue Ribbon Sushi & Steak combines traditional Japanese cuisine with a modern day steakhouse. Our menu is varied and extensive, and includes sushi and sashimi, as well as cooked entrees such as fish, lamb, steaks and chops. We feature Domestic and Japanese Wagyu. Blue Ribbon Sushi & Steak is located in midtown Manhattan, at the PENN 1 Building, across 33rd Street from Madison Square Garden and atop Penn Station. The restaurant is accessible from 33rd street, and from the newly renovated Penn Station and 34th Street via the lobby of PENN 1. We offer various seating areas - a sushi counter, a cocktail bar, the central dining room, and an outdoor patio (weather permitting).

Great Japanese steak & sushi restaurant located across from MSG! Sushi is fresh and delicious. Wide selection of fish and shellfish. Wagyu steak offerings are prepared well with great sides. The marinated sprouts are a unique refreshing accompaniment with whole seed mustard and minced spring onions that comes with the steak. A great find!

From the second you walk in the door, you can tell your going have an all around great experience. Greeters, servers and the look of the place are all tops… but the star of the show is the food. Just fantastic!

Chicken wings were outstanding. Sushi deluxe had a delicious assortment. Cucumber salad was tangy and fresh.

Excellent restaurant! I’ve been so many times I only wish they changed up the menu seasonally. They need more variety but quality & service are excellent.
