Blue Ribbon Brasserie is built on the vision that originated over 30 years ago in New York City's SoHo at the legendary original Blue Ribbon, well known as the restaurant "where chefs go to eat." Blue Ribbon is also famously ready to serve here in Boston!

The space is highlighted by a 70-foot white Carrera marble bar, an oyster bar, and a 16-seat private dining room. The soaring interior has been designed as a collection of intimate dining spaces featuring cozy leather banquettes, shaded table lamps and bistro tables, and a light-filled solarium with floor-to-ceiling windows that look out into the neighborhood and beckon inside the Boston community and visitors alike.

The food here is top notch and the large dining area(s) are gorgeous. Our party of three included two vegetarians and we decided to share appetizers. The pierogies were amazing and flavorful. The roasted brussels sprouts were crispy and slightly spicy. The vegetarian kabob was also delicious. I had the pate with toasted bread which was excellent. Shrimp cocktail was perfectly cooked and while the cocktail sauce did not have the overload of horse radish that I am partial to, it was very good. The hummus was also very good, but this order gets to the crux of my only complaint...these appetizers were sort of small. The hummus portion was not generous at all and only came with two pieces of pita bread. For the price, this was not a good value. The shrimp cocktail was huge, and although pricy, not outrageous for the size and quality they presented. Overall it was a nice dining experience but the portions weren't always as generous as they should be for the cost. I will be back when looking for a nice night out in a beautiful venue!

No oysters . One server . Service was incredibly slow . Not running back anytime soon. Food was eh

We had an amazing Oktoberfest experience! We started with the pretzels and then moved onto the spaetzle, the goulash, and the pork plate. All were delicious and paired with a stein of beer. We ended with the bread pudding and the cream brûle and could not have been more pleased. We gave it an A. An exceptional meal!!

Just okay food, especially for the price! Only thing that stood out, that was memorable and unique were the pierogis.

Really enjoy our food. I had Shrimp Provencal and my husband had salmon. Both were excellent! They are delicious. The service was excellent as well. We were late for our reservation but no problem at all. We were quickly seated and enjoyed our first time dinner in this wonderful restaurant. we will be back!

We had endive salad, fish and chips and pierogis. All was excellent. You could tell it was all very fresh. A little pricey but that’s everywhere now

Excellent food, drink, service and atmosphere. One of the few places we've ben to that can pull off such an eclectic menu. Was a touch loud but not a big deal. Our first visit and will definitely return.
