Book your table under our covered pavilion overlooking the beautiful Red River Valley where we offer wine by the glass, wine flights, and bottles of wine.
Once seated, you may order from our menu. NO outside food or drink, and no dogs under the pavilion. Reservations are 90 minutes. At the end of your reservation time, your group can move to a table on the shaded lawn or pergola to continue your stay. If you would like more than a 90 minute seating, please call us at 940-995-3100. No payment is required to book a reservation.
The winery experience is aimed for adults 21 and older. If a minor is joining your party, we ask that they stay with an adult at all times and they are well-behaved.
12pm-6 pm Thursday and Friday, 11:30am-6:15pm Saturday, and 12pm-5pm Sunday

My husband and I were worried about the heat on a June afternoon out at Blue Ostrich, but the enclosed patio felt SO nice while still providing a wonderful view of the surrounding landscape. The live music was a wonderful touch! We enjoyed the baguette with veggie schmear which was delicious—the bread was well seasoned, and there was plenty of schmear to load up each slice. We also enjoyed the lunch special of the day which was a flatbread with an olive cheese with caramelized onions. Again, this was very well seasoned, the crust was nice and crispy, and the caramelized onions added great flavor. We started with a wine flight and ended with a bottle to share. All of the wines we had were delightful, and our server was great at making sure we chose wines that suited our tastes.

The Blue Ostrich is our favorite Texas winery; great food and wine in a beautiful setting overlooking the vineyard and rolling hills of oaks and pasture. The glassed-in barn has A/C if it's hot. We all had wine flights plus two different flatbreads and hummus. Plus when you're done you can go check out the ostriches.

We traveled from Dallas to try their Temparanillo wine. We were told only members could purchase. Could not even taste. I had called on Thursday and inquired about it. Very disappointed and we expressed to waitress and also in gift shop. But no one seemed to care.

It was fantastic! The musician playing was perfect, food was wonderful and of course the wine was fantastic! Levi was our waiter and he was THE BEST! Request his area if at all possible.

Blue Ostrich is always a fun and laid back place to visit. The views are great, the service is outstanding, and there is a variety of wine so everyone can be satisfied. Definitely worth the drive.
