Our experience at the blue moon was amazing tonight! The food, vibe and service was incredible! Our server was helpful, kind and patient with our larger party + kids! Thank you so much and can’t wait to come back :-)

Blue Moon is always my first night go-to in Rehoboth. I have been going there for years and I love the vibe It is good but I think it had seen better days. It feels like the entrees menu has never been changed, only subtly. I was in the mood for red meat and got the steak ….. something I rarely get eating out. It was nothing special and the mashed potatoes seemed like from a box mix, though of course I am sure they were not The duck is always outstanding but I did not get it this time Thad oysters appetizer (a baked dish) was amazing A nice creamy crab soup All the standard wine varietals by the glass I just wish they would get more experimental with the menu since year after year it hardly changes. Also more adventurous wine selection would be nice That said, I will of course be back mostly because I like the vibe

Blue Moon was fabulous. The service was top notch, and the food delicious. Sitting on the enclosed porch. My only complaint was the noise level. It was very loud and my husband and I had to speak loudly to hear each other.

We were assigned to a small corner table in the front room. The restaurant was full and very noisy. We recorded over 80 decibels on average, the neighboring table was particularly loud. We ordered the Mahi mahi and the crab cake sandwich. The mahi mahi is normally served blackened, we asked for “not” blackened. The chef coated the fish in an herb and bread mixture that was studded with whole peppercorns. That made no sense. The grits were good, but the “sautéed peas” seemed frozen and nothing special. The crab cake was OK, but the fries were under salted and soggy. Also, the tomatoes on the sandwich were the worst unripe grocery store tomatoes. A real embarrassment for a high end restaurant. We were very unimpressed for a restaurant that claims to define high end dining at the beach. Sad since we have been coming here for over 30 years.

My date and I had a fabulous time! It was my first time and i loved everything. The service was on point, the drinks were to die for, and my steak was cooked to perfection. I had ordered a medium steak and it was one of the most tender steaks I’ve ever had. Would highly recommend this place for anyone passing through or if they are staying for vacation!
