BLUE MOON BISTRO of Beaufort, NC; Casual fine dining experience with superb service team, a creative and well-stocked bar, & TWO chefs sharing in our culinary leadership of French/American cuisine.

CHEF JAYSON FOSTER graduate of CCCCP; Culinary Arts student who studied in France under two-starred Michelin Chef Marc Meurin. A stalwart on the Beaufort Food Scene, Jayson has cooked at Chef’s 105, Circa 81, and at Aqua, where he was the Chef for 10 years. In 2012, Jayson and team won the Fire on the Docks Competition in Wilmington, NC.

CHEF JOSH MACKLIN, Honors graduate of CCCCP, Josh ALSO went to France to study with two-starred Michelin Chef Marc Meurin. Josh joined Floyd’s 1921 as banquet chef. He has worked at Circa 81 as Chef/Restaurant Manager for 10 years. He then joined the Oysters and Pearls group, opening Catch 109 and Executive Chef for Table 9. Josh loves how food brings together families and friends. He is a proud believer of food being a bond we all share.

Our server, Hannah was the so attentive and friendly! The food was amazing! We had the Lobster Bisque, a Caesar Salad and Seared Duck Breast.

We had dinner here for New Years. The food was fabulous but very small portions. I had the duck and wife the snapper. We each had soup. The noise level was WAY TOO LOUD. With the cost of the meal, $200, and the noise level this was a once and done meal.

Everything was outstanding. This is one of our favorites in Beaufort. Food and service is always stellar.

My wife & I had reservations for New Years Eve. Our entire experience was wonderful! The bread, appetizer (Brussel sprouts), salads, and entrees were fantastic! Then we had dessert… the beignets were heavenly! Our server, Kimberly, was super and made our date night perfect! We will certainly be back soon!

We celebrated our anniversary here and it was perfect. The service, drinks & food were all lovely. They crafted a vegetarian dish for my wife, and it was delicious. We also loved the brussel sprouts ! They made our eve night special with delicious food & impeccable service.

My husband and I had one of the best meals I have ever eaten in Morehead City at Blue Moon Bistro. They just introduced their new menu. We had an amazing oyster appetizer followed by a duck breast entree that was just unbelievably delicious! Our server was Hannah and she was perfect! A memorable night!😋

Awesome dinner great food , drinks and Awesome service. Michelle was attentive and it was a great evening. The chef did a remarkable job. Love when Chef Jason prepares the meal.

Blue Moon Bistro is an absolute masterpiece of dining perfection! From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty with service that was as warm and inviting as it was flawlessly attentive. The staff anticipated our every need, making the entire experience feel seamless and utterly luxurious. The food? Simply divine. Each dish was a testament to culinary brilliance, bursting with flavor, beautifully presented, and crafted with an attention to detail that left us in awe. Every bite was an experience in itself, and the balance of flavors was nothing short of genius. And let’s not forget the drinks—oh, the drinks! Each cocktail was a work of art, expertly mixed and served with flair. From the first sip to the last, the flavors were bold, refreshing, and perfectly complementary to the meal. Went on busy Saturday night after securing last minute reservation. Had heard rave reviews about food, which were absolutely correct! Shrimp & scallop pasta was delicious, seafood cooked perfectly. Seasoning of fish was spot on! Husband had red snapper special which he also rated 5 stars. Restaurant was very crowded and loud, with lots of people having holiday meals. Difficult to converse and service was bit slow. Expected both, but food quality made up for it. Servers were doing their best to keep up, which we commend.
