We had a group of 8 and chose to eat outside to avoid the loud atmosphere inside. Food and service were excellent.

We go to Blue Marlin every Sunday. Everything is usually great. We ordered Charleston Salmon cooked well. Came to our table, looked like orange jelly. Collards were terrible. Sent it back. The salmon came back with a red sauce and very runny. Collards still the same. Don’t know what was going on like poor management or what. Heard that the cooks were young.

We had a reservation at 5:15. We arrived at 5:00, and she told us it would be closer to our reservation time before seating us. Ok- no big deal except people walked in with the same party size and no reservation and were seated immediately. I got two appetizers for my meal- pimento cheese and petite shrimp and grits. The shrimp was very bland. The pimento cheese did not have a strong flavor, so the oil from the pita chip flavor overtook them. I will say the bread was the best part of the meal.

Husband had catch of the day and it was overcooked- Salmon was very salty- mashed potatoes were extremely ordinary no real flavor

One of our absolute best meals in Columbia!! I had the filet and my husband had the mahi orleans. We will definitely be back!!

The food quality has changed tremendously! Shrimp and sausage from shrimp and grits lacked flavor and were not cooked well enough. Sausage showed many large fatty pieces throughout. Seafood platter was very greasy and tasted much like old bay seasoning. The crab cake tasted freezer burned. Service was great, ambiance was too. Please note the issues were quickly resolved.
