Jasmine was a special and kind and attentive server. We immediately like her. She was also the picture of patience. Blue Marlin was special and very delicious as always! It was my Mom’s favorite place and is one of mine and my wife’s as well!

The food was good however it was not hot. I ordered crab cake and it was warm however the red rice and string beans were cold. We ate a few bites asked for to go trays and took food home. Our server was great however I can’t remember his name. He was a young white male with curly black hair. My tea never ran out. We will be back.

Excellent Food and Service as always, the Firecracker Flounder was spot on as well as the grits and collards! Can’t wait for the next visit!!!

I was disappointed last night when we went to Blue marlin. I requested to have a booth not near the back and not near the kitchen. We ended up being sat right by the kitchen in one of those booths that is just a one person seat. As a bigger person this was extremely uncomfortable for me because you can’t move the table and the seats so it made hard for me to feel comfortable. The light was so bright at our table, it gave my husband a headache. Our waitress who was extremely nice, kept making comments about how crowded the table was and trying to accommodate our food and drinks by rearranging things for us. When our appetizers came out, my husband got burned from the skillet because the runner who dropped it off, didn’t warn him that it was extremely hot. It was so hot and stuffy in there, I almost needed my inhaler. The food was amazing. No complaints about that food. My only concern is that when you put a request in for the reservation the hosts don’t even read what you request.

Have been dining at Blue Marlin for years. It has always been very good. Our meal last night was not good. Ordered broiled seafood platter. Crab cake was mostly bread and no seasoning. Fish and shrimp were swimming in liquid. The slaw was the best. Had to ask for lemon wedges to make it palatable. We were truly disappointed and hope this is not going to become a trend.

Fairly consistent over the years. Food was good and Glen Livet Old Fashioned a nice cocktail.

Cocktails were watery - clearly sat on the bar for awhile before waiter brought them to our table. Waiter had to be asked twice to bring bread. The Mahi tasted good but was over cooked. Snapper was good. Crab cakes were average and dry. Ambience is nice. I feel like for the price that they can do a little better. Will probably try someplace else when we come back to COLA.
