We’re more than oysters - we’re Colorado's best seafood restaurant! Opened this year in January, Blue Island Oyster Bar & Seafood brings you a second location location in South metro Denver. Our approach is still the same: to create honest food and drinks, served in a comfortable, casual environment. The restaurant’s culture is inspired by memories of growing up in coastal towns with families of oyster farmers and fishermen. Like them, we strive to bring you superb hospitality and delicious food with a commitment to the freshest seafood at reasonable prices. To ensure this commitment of quality, we’ve partnered with Chris Quartuccio of Blue Island Shellfish Farms in Long Island, NY to bring you nearly daily shipments of seasonal oysters and seafood, offering favorites such as Steamed Mussels, Lobster Rolls, Clam Chowder, Crab Cakes, and fish like halibut, Atlantic cod and salmon, to name a few. We invite you in for dock-to-dish dining at its best!

Disappointed with the noise level and the service this time. Two of our party were sick after their meal this time as well.

A bit off of the usual 5 stars. The Portuguese red wine was very raisiny making me think it’s been sitting around too long. Sent it back. Waiter was not quite on top of things. Wandered off with part of my wine carafe and didn’t get a glass of water for my friend until reminded. Food was outstanding though! Celebrated my birthday with friends and had a card at the table 😊

Blue Island never disappoints. We celebrated Christmas Eve with friends and enjoyed good food, service and ambiance. The clam chowder is to die for.

We each ordered something from the grill. The portions were very small for the cost of the meal. There was very little flavoring on the fish. The waiter was nice and helpful.

Overall good. Good was satisfying and service was good and consistent. The only disappointment is being seated at a table for 4 when there is 5 adults. That impacts the experience by making things a little cramped but other than that it was good.
