We’re more than oysters - we’re Colorado's best seafood restaurant! Opened this year in January, Blue Island Oyster Bar & Seafood brings you a second location location in South metro Denver. Our approach is still the same: to create honest food and drinks, served in a comfortable, casual environment. The restaurant’s culture is inspired by memories of growing up in coastal towns with families of oyster farmers and fishermen. Like them, we strive to bring you superb hospitality and delicious food with a commitment to the freshest seafood at reasonable prices. To ensure this commitment of quality, we’ve partnered with Chris Quartuccio of Blue Island Shellfish Farms in Long Island, NY to bring you nearly daily shipments of seasonal oysters and seafood, offering favorites such as Steamed Mussels, Lobster Rolls, Clam Chowder, Crab Cakes, and fish like halibut, Atlantic cod and salmon, to name a few. We invite you in for dock-to-dish dining at its best!

Overall very good! My only complaint is the seating. VERY uncomfortable!!! Slat boards made up to be chairs is Not comfortable !!

Delicious 1 pound steamed lobster served with coleslaw or french fries was as tender, sweet and delicious as lobsters I’ve had on the coast of Maine fresh out of the water!

Sean was an excellent server. Checked on us multiple times to see if everything was good. The food is always excellent.

This is my favorite place in Lone Tree. The food is so fresh and it is a great menu. Prices are a bit high but we love the atmosphere.

We often choose Blue Island when looking for a good happy hour spot or place to have dinner after a concert. The service was not bad but not quite what we've come to expect. The food, however, was not up to their usual standard. My husband had the salmon and kale salad. The salmon was overcooked and very dry. The salad was a wad of greens with very little of the other ingredients listed. Our friends enjoyed their clam chowder as usual. My fried clams were cooked nicely but cold. When you factor in that prices have increased significantly, I'm thinking we'll be looking for other options.

Food was excellent- clams and pasta and clam chowder. Noise level was unbearable. When I pay that much for a nice dinner, I expect a pleasant place to eat. I could barely hear my daughter in our conversation across the table. Should warn about noise level. A relief to finish our meal and get outside

Service was excellent. Food was served very, very quickly. I like seafood. Every now and then, I like to have fish and chips. This was my "best-ever" fish and chips! Wow! I had to consciously slow down my rate of eating. I was gobbling it down very fast because it tasted so good. This was our first visit to Blue Island Oyster Bar.
