Au Blue Island Oyster Bar, notre menu, notre décor, notre culture et surtout notre expérience sont inspirés de souvenirs d'enfance, comme grandir dans une petite ville côtière, un endroit dans le temps où les choses semblaient être plus simples, plus amusantes et presque surréaliste. Nous avons ensuite combiné tout ceci avec une hospitalité inégalée, des libations créatives et une passion pour les fruits de mer très frais. Afin de nous assurer que cet engagement soit respecté, nous avons créé un partenariat avec les fermes de fruits de mer de Blue Island afin de vous faire savourer les meilleurs huîtres et fruits de mer : palourdes et moules cuites à la vapeur, rouleaux de homard, potage de palourdes, gâteaux de crabe ainsi que du poisson frais, entre autres. Bien sûr, n'importe quel restaurant serait incomplet s'il ne disposait pas d'une grande carte de boissons au bar, s'associant parfaitement avec le menu du chef DJ Nagle. C'est pourquoi nous avons employé les barmans les plus doués pour vous préparer des cocktails, et vous aider à étancher votre soif, que vous soyez amateur de bière, de vin, de champagne ou de cocktails classiques. Notre approche est simple : nous souhaitons créer une cuisine et des boissons respectables, pour les servir dans un cadre détendu.

First time for dinner, and the Veterans Day discount was greatly appreciated. But the best part outside of great food was the great service from Randi, she was awesome, and every recommendation was appreciated. Even the white wine she recommended was good, especially considering I don’t usually drink white wine. Be back soon.

The dinners were amazing and everyone enjoyed them very much. The value was on the expensive side….worth it? That is an individual opinion. Try the sea bass…there are two recipes, one was sort of Asian the other not, we had them both and were very pleased!

Blue Island Oyster Bar is *always* a good time and every single item on their menu is delicious. The waiting staff is always super friendly and helpful with any recommendations you may ask for as well. Their oyster selection is amazing and has offerings from all over North America. Our food was mostly very good…..oysters great, clam chowder great, the fish and chips were just ok…we would suggest you pass on them. The tartar sauce was full of malt vinegar, so if you are not a fan of malt vinegar I’d pass. The Cole slaw had some kind of vinegar also…couldn’t eat it. The review is based on other items we had in the past, not the fish and chips.

Excellent seafood at various price points. Loved the proscuittio wrapped scallops and my husband had a combo fried seafood platter that was enough for 2! Plus lots of great options and combinations. Even the sides are special: parmesan-crusted potatoes, mascarpone spinach, crispy Brussels.

The seafood was fresh and flavorful! Oysters were magnificent! John our server was very knowledgeable about the mine and he offered suggestions as needed! He was excellent! Additionally, the hostess was excellent too.
