Au Blue Island Oyster Bar, notre menu, notre décor, notre culture et surtout notre expérience sont inspirés de souvenirs d'enfance, comme grandir dans une petite ville côtière, un endroit dans le temps où les choses semblaient être plus simples, plus amusantes et presque surréaliste. Nous avons ensuite combiné tout ceci avec une hospitalité inégalée, des libations créatives et une passion pour les fruits de mer très frais. Afin de nous assurer que cet engagement soit respecté, nous avons créé un partenariat avec les fermes de fruits de mer de Blue Island afin de vous faire savourer les meilleurs huîtres et fruits de mer : palourdes et moules cuites à la vapeur, rouleaux de homard, potage de palourdes, gâteaux de crabe ainsi que du poisson frais, entre autres. Bien sûr, n'importe quel restaurant serait incomplet s'il ne disposait pas d'une grande carte de boissons au bar, s'associant parfaitement avec le menu du chef DJ Nagle. C'est pourquoi nous avons employé les barmans les plus doués pour vous préparer des cocktails, et vous aider à étancher votre soif, que vous soyez amateur de bière, de vin, de champagne ou de cocktails classiques. They seated us at a table right next to the line in the kitchen and the bathroom hall. Really terrible with people grazing us and the table as they passed by. Super loud. It was my birthday dinner and it just felt like they put us at the worst table which was a bummer. Food was good but portions are small for the price. Servers seemed a bit overwhelmed and forgot some things. Overall not bad, I would go back for the happy hour deals!

The lobster roll was sublime. The brioche bun was somehow both soft and had a little crunch and was LOADED with lobster. I couldn't even eat it all. The smoked trout dip was excellent too. My husband's sea bass was excellent as well. Great service too. Very boisterous and noisy.

Enjoyed the ‘restaurant week’ options and was thoroughly impressed — fresh dishes, wonderful service and great atmosphere. Loved the trout dip and key lime pie! Will be returning next time I’m in the Cherry Creek area.

Celebrated a friend's birthday on a weekday's lunchtime. Kendall, our server, exceeded our expectations. We really appreciated the fresh pot of coffee at no charge! Food and drinks were phenomenal. Even engaged in a memorable conversation with the manager. Highly recommend!

Blue Island oyster bar is always a great experience. The food is fabulous, annd this trip was no exception. Loved my surf and turf, and you really should try the smoked trout dip. It was definitely busy, but the staff were great and kept things moving even through the craziness of restaurant week.
