Au Blue Island Oyster Bar, notre menu, notre décor, notre culture et surtout notre expérience sont inspirés de souvenirs d'enfance, comme grandir dans une petite ville côtière, un endroit dans le temps où les choses semblaient être plus simples, plus amusantes et presque surréaliste. Nous avons ensuite combiné tout ceci avec une hospitalité inégalée, des libations créatives et une passion pour les fruits de mer très frais. Afin de nous assurer que cet engagement soit respecté, nous avons créé un partenariat avec les fermes de fruits de mer de Blue Island afin de vous faire savourer les meilleurs huîtres et fruits de mer : palourdes et moules cuites à la vapeur, rouleaux de homard, potage de palourdes, gâteaux de crabe ainsi que du poisson frais, entre autres. Bien sûr, n'importe quel restaurant serait incomplet s'il ne disposait pas d'une grande carte de boissons au bar, s'associant parfaitement avec le menu du chef DJ Nagle. C'est pourquoi nous avons employé les barmans les plus doués pour vous préparer des cocktails, et vous aider à étancher votre soif, que vous soyez amateur de bière, de vin, de champagne ou de cocktails classiques. Notre approche est simple : nous souhaitons créer une cuisine et des boissons respectables, pour les servir dans un cadre détendu.

We had the Valentine’s Day menu for two people. The selections were outstanding, particularly the Caesar salad, clam chowder, the fish and pasta. The dessert was OK. The most outstanding part of the meal was the attention by our servers Ashley and Ben.

It started off above the normal with getting notified that our table was ready. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I needed special help with my celiac disease, and they were knowledgeable about what was going to be needed to be modified for me. The food was very fresh and was prepared with extra care to keep it authentic. As a result, everything tasted great. We also enjoyed the ambiance of the place. We look forward to going back. The prices were on the higher side, but expected with the level of service we received.

It was good, but we went there for their “shucker’s platter” which is shown on their website, but they don’t serve it.

Everything was excellent. The food, drinks, service and ambiance were spot-on from start to finish. A little on the pricier side, but it was worth it.
