Au Blue Island Oyster Bar, notre menu, notre décor, notre culture et surtout notre expérience sont inspirés de souvenirs d'enfance, comme grandir dans une petite ville côtière, un endroit dans le temps où les choses semblaient être plus simples, plus amusantes et presque surréaliste. Nous avons ensuite combiné tout ceci avec une hospitalité inégalée, des libations créatives et une passion pour les fruits de mer très frais. Afin de nous assurer que cet engagement soit respecté, nous avons créé un partenariat avec les fermes de fruits de mer de Blue Island afin de vous faire savourer les meilleurs huîtres et fruits de mer : palourdes et moules cuites à la vapeur, rouleaux de homard, potage de palourdes, gâteaux de crabe ainsi que du poisson frais, entre autres. Bien sûr, n'importe quel restaurant serait incomplet s'il ne disposait pas d'une grande carte de boissons au bar, s'associant parfaitement avec le menu du chef DJ Nagle. C'est pourquoi nous avons employé les barmans les plus doués pour vous préparer des cocktails, et vous aider à étancher votre soif, que vous soyez amateur de bière, de vin, de champagne ou de cocktails classiques. Notre approche est simple : nous souhaitons créer une cuisine et des boissons respectables, pour les servir dans un cadre détendu.

I really liked the special they had here for NYE for food courses. The price was great. I am not a wine person but they also had bottles of wine for half price., which I assume any wine lover would take on this offer instantly. The two appetizers were bigger than I thought but for me, that’s always a plus. I had a Paloma for a drink. Let me tell you that I am always skeptical when ordering this drink as it’s always a hit or miss. This night, it was a hit. Give it one last mix before the first sip and it’s refreshing and well balanced with all its mixed components. As for the meals, the sizes were perfectly portioned and the presentation on the dish was beautiful. Kudos to the cooks! Our server was great, as they would come up to us with a smile and with no urge of pressure for getting something else, finishing up quick or getting out quick. Lastly, I mentioned on my reservation that it was my anniversary and they took the time to leave a kind card and thanking us for picking Blue Island Oyster as the place to share our night. I wouldn’t have wanted any other way as my girlfriend and I were happy, full and all around satisfied. Thank you everyone at Blue Island Oyster Bar - Denver for making our night a memorable one. We will definitely be back!

Food was good but service was terrible. Waitress couldn’t be bothered for anything and was dismissive and unfriendly. Really ruined the experience.

Great restaurant for fresh oysters & seafood based apps & entrees. Better value during happy hour, but regardless, this is not an inexpensive restaurant. Service is also consistently great. The high noise level discourages conversation and is my only issue.

Great seafood restaurant with a lot of options. The service is friendly and it is a great location. It is expensive though.

The best HH! Even on Christmas Eve! We’ve been here several times. Never disappoints! The trout dip and calamari are the bomb! Service is superb!!

Always enjoy the food and service. We went in last night for the $1.31 Oysters, we ordered 12 and the cost was over $40 total. No one let us know that the offer is not for all Oysters. It is a great promotion but they need to be clear with their patrons.
