The Blue Heron Restaurant is a classically designed seafood and steak joint. The soft hues, pastel shades and vintage style with a contemporary streak in its interior make it a calming place. The restaurant has a comfortable seating arrangement, elegant furnishings and hospitable waiting staff that makes Blue Heron Restaurant a place to enjoy the menu items in large groups, with family or friends in a casual setup. The restaurant also has televisions for entertainment.

Blue Heron Restaurant has a full alcohol bar to accentuate the delicious cuisines. The food was excellent and the service fantastic. Took a friend for a birthday dinner and they loved it! Not our first visit - definitely will be back!

This was our first time to the Blue Heron. Our friends told us that they had a good experience, unfortunately that was not the case for us. We did arrive about 45 minutes early as the wine bar next door was closed, and the restaurant was able to seat us early. That was the last good thing. Our original waitress took our drink order only to have another waiter, come and take over for her. He asked for our drink orders again, which we obliged. Well 15 minutes later my drink arrived. Not sure why such a delay as my husband and his friend received their drinks pretty quickly from the bar. Mine was a mini bottle of champagne that you didn’t even need to make. Moving on to dinner. We placed our order but our food didn’t arrive until after several other parties around us , who were seated after us, got theirs. No apology, no manager and no service recovery was offered. My friends salmon was raw and she ordered it well done. My soup was lukewarm. The pesto pasta was very good though. I will never return to this place and I’m sure to tell all my friends. Such a shame as I had expected more.

Too many tables crammed into a small area. Waitstaff and to pass hot plates across the table and over shoulders of guests. The front of house young man was snooty and too immature for the position. Some of the serving dishes appeared dirty. It’s a shame because the food was very good. Oh, except the fried okra on the calamari…that was confusing.

The restaurant was very busy. It took a long time for our food, including our appetizers. Had to ask another server to bring my salad dressing. I was disappointed.

The service was terribly slow. Took 45 mins just to get our drinks. Another hour to start food service. At restaurant a total of 2 hours and 45 minutes. Our waitress was trying very hard but seemed completely frazzled. Food was over salted. Disappointed is understatement as we had out if town guests with us. Best part was the wine. Sorry Blue Heron. Thus was bad.

Great food, very nice restaurant. The only slight negative is the tables for two are close together, hence private conversations aren’t possible.

The servers were responsible for too many tables. The kitchen was very slow. Took 2 hours after seating to complete our dining. The food is good. Just need to work on speed of service.

Our server AJ was great. Tuna tar tar was delicious. And wine recommendation was perfect. Our table was ready right when we walked in.
