Party of 4 , picnic table seating. Not good, private. Hard to make conversation across the table. Fix your tables for 4!!! Hostess unable to accommodate quieter table.

The space is so small and the tables are packed in so tight, you have to have your neighbor move their table with all their food on it so you can squeeze by, trying not to sit in their food. The $26 whiskey sour tasted like a water down lemonade. Food was OK. Risotto was a little too hard, but the sauce was nice and scallops cooked well. The octopus was tasty, but a little overcooked, we really enjoyed the potatoes and chimichuri, they were the best part of the dish. Probably wouldn't go back.

Small venue but very cool and relaxed atmosphere. Just know that some portion of the seating is communal for part of the restaurant, so you might want to check ahead of time if you’re not into that.

If you are looking for a quaint place to have a drink and a great meal, the BLUE DOG is OUTSTANDING. The staff is very attentive and can't do enough for you. Don't be surprised if the Manager sits down at your table for a nice chat. Definitely order an appetizer, they are all fantastic. Prices are very reasonable for Manhattan. Put the BLUE DOG on your must go to list, you'll become a repeat customer!

Fantastic place, and WONDERFUL service. The heater had broke, but they made up for it with space heaters next to us, warm hot water and an incredible drinks and food! The service was beyond fantastic! Carlos was amazing!

They pack you in like sardines and our seating options (with a table reserved for 4) were either to sit at a bar-like high top where you can't even sit across from you party, or sit at an undersized table by the door where cold air blew on us regularly from the outdoors. Our waiter also didn't come by for a while after our food came to check if anyone needed another drink with the meal, or anything else for that matter.

Arrived on time. Took 20 minutes to take our drink order and longer to get it. After we ate our meal we ordered coffee. They gave us our check BEFORE the coffee was served and kicked us out simultaneously! Poured the steaming hot coffee into a to go cup and kicked us out. It wasn't even 90 minutes since we were seated and 30 of those minutes we didn't even have our drinks yet. Seating was horrible. Everyone sits at one long table. I also witnessed the same person who kicker us out trying to move someone over a seat during their meal. Of course I tipped well being that they brought the bill before the coffee. Horrible experience.
