Delicious. I tried things I thought I didn’t like but liked them. Oysters, crab cakes were to die for. You want to experience squid that melts in your mouth then get the Humboldt squid. Sooo yummy. Snow crab was delicious. All though I will say my only qualm was the veg that came with the crab was bland, I mean I liked the potatoes but the broccolini and corn needed something. For dessert lovers chocolate was actually heavenly.

The mussels were quite small and overcooked in a very unusual,not tasty thick sauce

Blue Crab has returned to our list of great eateries in Victoria -- for a while, it had little of interest to us after having an excellent, innovative menu. we still miss the old clam chowder but our experience this past Tuesday was excellent.

The place was very nice and clean, but the service was subpar, and the food left us unhappy. The crab was bad. My entree was good although unfortunately the crab my husband had, that they pride themselves on, is very poor.

Fabulous place to dine with friends and family. The service is tremendous and the food delicious! Price point is high but then you get what you pay for…we will be back!

While the restaurant appears to be upscale, it is not. The service was okay, the food average at best, and there is no atmosphere to the restaurant. Folks were stepping in front of our table to take photos out the windows, not caring about other diners. One diner let his baby put hand prints all over the glass. I had the scallops and pork belly. Scallops were good, pork belly was over cooked, and the pea? puree spread across the plate was not appetizing. The raspberry cheesecake was good, but the portion was a very small square. Overall i was not satisfied, nor did the meal live up to expectations.

The seafood did not taste fresh. The clams and mussels were fine, but the rest of the fish (and imported frozen prawns) did not taste fresh.

Jumbo Prawns in Garlic butter was good but could have used less garlic butter. Main corse Haddock Cheeks (Haddock not bad but the rest of the plate tasteless) and Haddock Roast (dry no flavour). The ambience and view great but overall not worth the money.
