Fabulous place to dine with friends and family. The service is tremendous and the food delicious! Price point is high but then you get what you pay for…we will be back!

While the restaurant appears to be upscale, it is not. The service was okay, the food average at best, and there is no atmosphere to the restaurant. Folks were stepping in front of our table to take photos out the windows, not caring about other diners. One diner let his baby put hand prints all over the glass. I had the scallops and pork belly. Scallops were good, pork belly was over cooked, and the pea? puree spread across the plate was not appetizing. The raspberry cheesecake was good, but the portion was a very small square. Overall i was not satisfied, nor did the meal live up to expectations.

The seafood did not taste fresh. The clams and mussels were fine, but the rest of the fish (and imported frozen prawns) did not taste fresh.

Jumbo Prawns in Garlic butter was good but could have used less garlic butter. Main corse Haddock Cheeks (Haddock not bad but the rest of the plate tasteless) and Haddock Roast (dry no flavour). The ambience and view great but overall not worth the money.

Had both breakfast and after dinner drinks at The Blue Crab and the experience was fantastic. The staff were friendly and personable, the atmosphere was relaxed yet elegant, the food was terrific, and the view was simply spectacular! Hat tip to the bartender, whose cocktail recommendation was top notch… Definitely returning!

Went there for crab and it was great. Waiter was wonderful and good service. Was lovely but a bit pricey. Overall a great experience.

Unwelcoming service, poor selection of wine, okay-ish food (a rubber band from the clams was in my dish, I was lucky not to swallow it; the waitress just chuckled and apologized at the end of the dinner—I definitely didn’t want to start a drama, but I was surprised that the dish was still on my bill). 50% of what you’re paying for is the view. I wouldn’t recommend it for a casual dinner, or for food, but it will likely work as part of a touristic Victoria experience.
