Liberty Entertainment Group's 2024 project in the iconic Union Station. Blue Bovine combines the traditional steakhouse with the traditional Japanese sushi house to fashion a distinctly modern dining experience. Combining custom elements, such as exclusively designed Canadian maple wood furniture, manufactured in Toronto with bespoke artwork, handcrafted lighting details, and a warm colour palette of deep reds, seawater blues and layers of white to reflect Toronto's four seasons. Honouring the integrity of local and natural elements, the restaurant's ethos is expressed both through the commitment to local menu ingredients on the plate and local and natural material honesty in the design.

An intimate 4-Course dinner with DuMol Estates from Sonoma County in California. The evening will include Champagne upon arrival following into a 4 course menu highlighting Blue Bovine's Steak & Sushi menu. Dinner will be accompanied by 5 cuvées from DuMol Estates, a hallmark producer of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir in Sonoma. Dinner guests will be joined by wine ambassador Mariette Boliski from DuMol, who will guide them through the evening. Guests will be seated at a communal table in the private dining room for this experience.

The Chef Selection Sashimi was awesome. The US Wagyu Filet Mignin was done to perfection and was juicy, tender and flavourful.

Excellent table service. only issue was at desert we ordered a Chocolate lave cake and were told it would take 15 to 20 min which was fine, it was excellent. questionable bar service Issue, we also ordered B52 coffees as well, but they arrived after we finished desert and were cold.

Service was excellent. This is my second time here and unfortunately the food didn't stand up to our expectations. My wife ordered the Miso Cod and the Miso was just put on the fish as an afterthought and the fish was over cooked. I ordered the Lamb and I like my Lamb medium but came out rare... the fat was white and not even rendered down. For $80 a dish you would expect it to be cooked perfectly. They offered us a drink to compensate but we were not drinking Alcohol that evening. They replaced the fish for another type and that was good but overall was disappointed in the food this time. We ordered two appetizers, two entrees, a sparkling water and no dessert. The bill including tip came to $300.

We had a wonderful time celebrating my husband’s birthday last night. This time, we started with sushi and we all chose seafood dishes for our mains. Everything was fantastic. Our server, Jokubas, and sommelier, Jessica, were very helpful and a pleasure to deal with. The chefs are brilliant! Thank you! We also noticed that the volume of the music has been taken down a notch since the last time we were there and that made us very happy!

Writing to express my profound disappointment with the experience I had yesterday, celebrating my 7th anniversary! We had made a reservation for 5 PM (since weeks ago because of all the hypes we had heard) intending to enjoy a meal before exploring downtown, but the service we received was far below acceptable standards and severely marred our celebration. Despite being the only customers in the restaurant at the time, with numerous servers present and available, my order (a short video is attached) —a tray of “Chef’s Selection Sashimi, 18 pieces”—arrived an hour late, only after multiple reminders to both servers and managers. To make matters worse, the dish was served without essential accompaniments like ginger and wasabi, which are standard for any sushi order. This lack of attention to detail is simply unacceptable, especially from a restaurant that positions itself as a premium sushi and steakhouse. During the extended wait, my husband had already finished his Wagyu beef dish, which he had to serve himself, and I had consumed two glasses of wine on an empty stomach because there was nothing else to eat. The first server who responded to my complaints was not only dismissive but also outright rude, claiming, “We were waiting for you to finish!” when I hadn’t even started eating. Such a response is shockingly unprofessional and added unnecessary stress to an already disappointing experience. Given the poor service, the lack of attention, and the dismissive attitude of your staff, I find it unacceptable that no gesture of goodwill was offered, such as a discount or the removal of my meal from the bill. I believe that could be bare minimum warranted, as we paid for a level of service and quality that was simply not delivered. I hope you take this feedback seriously and address these concerns to prevent future patrons from experiencing the same disappointment. I look forward to your prompt response and resolution!

There was nothing to distinguish this from mediocre eateries in Toronto as far as food was concerned. The service was ok. The steaks were underwhelming. The portions were small for what we paid and the taste was below average. The ambience was beautiful. This was a very expensive one off experience! The desserts were tasteless! I will not go back….and I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys good food in Toronto
