Blue Bear is a locally owned farm to table restaurant. Our entire menu is made from scratch including all sauces, dressings, soups, bakery, etc. We use whole farm fresh meats with no hormones, antibiotics, additives or preservatives. We use free range chicken and farm fresh eggs. We roast all of our meats in house. We use locally grown and organic produce when in season and available. We offer many gluten-free, vegan & keto friendly options. We use plant based, compostable carry out containers. We cook with 100% real clarified butter. Blue Bear is open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and a fantastic Saturday & Sunday Brunch!

The food is always delicious. I like the outdoor dog friendly seating. The service though has declined more. They seem to be understaffed and the staff isn't trained well. There were 2 servers including the bar tender. Only one server was great. I stood around waiting to be seated. No greeting or acknowledgement. Then waited more for the table to be cleaned.

Nice little restaurant for an healthy brunch. Their eggs are fresh and tasty. We loved the rancheros bowl

The service was very slow. My food was incorrect but they brought out the correct food once I mentioned something to the server.

The food is always amazing. But sadly we had a bad experience. Service was way overwhelmed. Took them way too long even to hear us and get water. Then the server didn’t return for about 20 minutes. When our order arrived there was hair in the food. 😩. While dining outside on the patio a ground crew arrived and began blowing grass and dirt in the air near our table. Very poor timing. That should be done before or after restaurant hours. Sadly it will be a long while before we consider going back.

We love Blue Bear and have been customers for years; Memorial Day birthday brunch was less than memorable, though. Far too few staff on hand for the number of customers. We'll leave it at that...

Wasted almost three hours with a reservation to get cold food. Mother’s Day is supposed to be enjoyable and this was nothing of the sort. The hostess/owner’s daughter was rude to many people because they overbooked their restaurant. She could not seat people on time, and food took two hours to get from kitchen to the table. Their food is typically great, but all the food came out cold as it had probably been waiting to come out for some time. Lack of staffing, space and a large enough kitchen is part to blame but this is not a new restaurant. They chose to overbook because they wanted $$$. Very disappointing and this is the second time we have had rude service from the daughter/manager. As an owner, you must be able to take constructive criticism and she cannot. It was very uncomfortable watching her (we were by the check in) be rude to all those checking in who were concerned with timing because they were so behind. Take the hint, change your ways.

We had reservations and we were sat late. Also sat at the bar that I didn’t really want to sit at but we did anyway. My mom and I ordered the avocado toast which took an hour and 15 mins to get out to us. My mom’s meal was cold . The bartender was friendly and likable. But it was complete chaos and the staff seemed flustered with each other. Just kind of a crazy situation.

The food was amazing, once it arrived. I would love to visit on a day that isn't mother's day. The kitchen seems to be very overwhelmed. We had to ask 3 times for our final item to arrive. I know mother's day is a rough but my nephew shouldn't have to wait an hour and a half for a plate of pancakes.
