Blue Anchor Grill, located in Island Park, Portsmouth RI, is an upscale casual restaurant with superb dishes prepared by our own Chef Geo. Our menu features fresh seafood, high quality ingredients and weekly specials of wonderfully creative dishes. We provide a warm friendly atmosphere with New England charm. In the summer months, guests can enjoy outdoor dining on our dog-friendly patio.

Unfortunately we were seated right in front of the entertainment for the evening. He was EXCELLENT, but it was so loud we couldn’t converse. Food was excellent - as always. Service outstanding.

We love Sandy! shes very welcoming. The food is great...chocolate wontons, tacos of all kinds...we will def make this a staple place...just didnt appreciate being seated next to the very load music...we were saying good bye to a friend leaving the country ( for good)and not being able to chat was a real bummer...but, we chatted with Sandy about it and again, she was awesome!

The menu is small, but the food was very good, as usual. The drinks were also delicious. My one complaint is that the kitchen closed while we were still eating dinner, and our waitress did not inform us of this so when we went to order dessert, we were unable to do so. In addition, a couple of menu items were sold out, which was disappointing.

We love the Blue Anchor Grill. The mussels, burgers, lobster roll, and mahi mahi tacos were excellent. Gracen's service was top-notch. We have been on the look-out for a good steak for my father. I remembered my husband and sister-in-law loving your steak frites, but it wasn't on the menu, so my dad tried the rib-eye. Unfortunately, he thought the ribeye was tough. But everything else was wonderful. Thanks for a fun night.

Our second time this year. Food and drinks were outstanding just as good as last time. Mark Flynn was playing and he was great! Service was on point and always kept the drinks cold and asked if we needed anything. We’ll be back!

Steak was very overcooked and not really seasoned. Not worth the price but if you going just for a quick drink, I would recommend.

Delicious Food, Cocktails, and good service. We ate outdoors which was very nice. The octopus app and the crab cakes were outstanding. Our server was excellent. Friendly and Professional.

This was my second time here. The Cauliflower appetizer was delicious the first time. Unfortunately not this time . No flavor except for a burnt overdone tatse. The pink vodka pasta was delicious both times. Unfortunately the fries that came with my friends sandwich had to be sent back. They were over done and, the second attempt wasn't much better. I think the oil they fried the cauliflower and fries in needed to be changed might of solved the problem. Entertainment both times was good.
